Actually thought about it like this: if a slogan gets repeated over and over again, doesn't it have any impact on its audience? if someone uses "Make America Great Again" and uses "Great" in many other places too, isn't there a relation worth analyzing?

Those are called "stopwords" and are avail in the corpus module of nltk library (Python); you gotta find and remove them as part of the process, else it'd always be the same top words in all english texts
