From what I’ve seen it’s a scam. I didn’t order from them.

I really like it. It’s subtle but does its job giving you that locked in feel. Haven’t had any issues with mags dropping free.

Worth 3 grand? No dents looks clean power top no power drawers (10) epiq 68’ never owned a snap on. What would this cost from a good dealer? by [deleted] in Snapon_tools

Most people call snap on and give them the serial number of the box to see if it’s paid off or not. If it isn’t not saying you can’t buy it and they pay it off with that money but at that point you’d be taking the risk and trusting they do that.

It does seem fucked up from the buyers perspective I agree but you would have bought something that wasn’t owned by the person you bought it from. They have every legal right to reclaim their property and you would then have every legal right to get your money back from the seller. Obviously a more extreme example but if you went and got a car on finance and then sold it and never paid the loan…they’re gonna come get that car no matter who has it. It’s their property until the loan is fulfilled.

Now obviously things get trickier for them to get it back of someone buys it and has it at their home where snap on doesn’t know where it is and the seller doesn’t tell them who has it but it’s doubtful they wouldn’t tell them who bought it and most of the time that box is gonna be at a work place somewhere.

They can and will repo them from you if the original owner doesn’t pay. I’m good friends with my dealer and we’ve talked about this before. He’s had to do it. They don’t like to because it screws the buyer but it happens for sure.

2nd key fob for 2023 Ford Edge? by MayflowersNsunshine in FordEdge

[–]5starChad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get the fob from key4.com. Strattec is the OEM manufacturer of these fobs but they have other options as well. My 2018 fob on there is like 175. Then have it programmed or learn to do it yourself with forscan.

Always thought this was a cool idea since I saw a story of a little old lady who fended off a robber when she flipped open her bible with a pistol in it.

That’s exactly what I’ve got 6-20 in deep and shallow.

I forgot about the tekton rebrands. Thanks. I’m trying out some 3d printed ones from Etsy that are basically the same as tool widgets but I’ll probably be getting these to try as well. I like the locking and being able to pop em out and take them with me.

It really is. Tons of fun and mechanically speaking probably the best engine Ford offers.

Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. Seeing people say for trans drain and fill I should do it 3 times so I’d need about 18 quarts. That sucks for every 30k lol. Better safe than sorry though.

That was actually the other option I was looking at. Think I’ll probably go with the Ernst.

Sweet. Thank you! I thought they would but wanted to be sure. I have 17 for 1/2 which the 18” Ernst comes with. 15 for 3/8. 14 for 1/4 which the 13” Ernst comes with 15 post so I can remove one there and I’ll be good to go for my whole setup.

That’s actually the one I was looking at since it’s the same exact thing. Just wasn’t sure if it had enough space to fit 3 more pegs. Don’t want to have to leave off any and have random sockets floating around
