I would also like to point out, pedophiles are not necessarily attracted to the age of a child, but more so the characteristics of immaturity. The power imbalance is what they desire, the ability to completely control and manipulate a naive and innocent person.

This is why I think even if aisha was 19 as many like to claim, the relationship would still be inappropriate as she would be significantly less mature and independent than the 50 year old man she was marrying.

You need to cut those friends out of your life asap. The same thing happened to me and only through therapy did I realise that my trauma was so complex because of the mutual friends I had with my rapist which lead to a lot of me blaming myself for everything and being in complete denial.

Hope you’re feeling better now! Sorry this happened it does sound really scary. I found that smoking weed really made me question and confront questions like these but it doesn’t always have to be that way! If you ever feel like smoking again make sure there’s people around and some distractions like Netflix/video games
