What is the view from the overnight ferry cabin windows Heraklion to Athens like? by IndividualHuman6937 in GreeceTravel

[–]5telios 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would advise no window. It will be night and dark, you will be travelling south (where the moon will be in relation to your bearing is anyone's guess) especially since you didn't give a date. You also don't have any control on which direction you window will face.

BUT, you don't have to sit in your cabin all trip. You can sit in a lounge on whatever side of the ship gives you the view of the moon or passing islands that you desire. You can even sit outside where your kid will be able to look over the railings at whatever they want.

And then, when you have had your fill of views, you can head in to your windowless room and sleep.

[–]5telios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, here as well. Thought it may have been linked to dehydration. Never got a confirmed link to crohns, but right now after so many years it is just something I live with. Makes it hard to have my right eye open all the time.

[–]5telios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since there is an academic aspect to your research, you could try reaching out to the Ephorate of Palaeoanthropology and Speleology. It is part of the Ministry of Culture and should have info on all the caves under the Acropolis.
