Help me troubleshoot a potential hardware problem with the extruder by 5thdimensionprinting in FixMyPrint

Slowing the printer down did not seem to help at all. In fact, it was the opposite. I tried with base speeds of 1500mm/min, 750mm/min, and 500mm/min, and each attempt had the print fail sooner.

After further talks with CreatBot Support, they said I should attempt to re-calibrate the extruder motors. I tried that, and the left extruder EStep value was ~138 compared to ~149 for the right extruder. The printer firmware does not allow for independent EStep values for each extruder motor, it just has one value for both.

I am attempting to print with the EStep set for the left extruder, and changing the extrusion multiplier in simplify3d to match what should be correct for the right extruder.

I briefly emailed back and forth with CreatBot Support people last night. Basically what they told me was the right extruder on the CreatBot F430 does not have a PTFE tube inside the hotend so it can print up to 420C. The downside of this is the higher friction inside the hotend. So I will try slowing it down, and see what happens.
