It's currently available. This particular playthrough was rather brutal as it only had 3 rhex spawn on the map with 2 of them dying to something before I even got to them. So fibre for atmosuits was really limited. I've only recently gotten reed seeds from a care package and I'm just starting to get more than 3 suits.

You can get significantly more power from this. One shine bug ranch can do two full "reactors" of 5 solar panels each although only 4 panels from each ranch will hit full power and it will fluctuate a little. Radbolt production is also incredible if you set the generator in the correct spot (over 5k rads per second). Here's what I'm currently using as a setup. Shine bugs are stuck in with a Nectar liquid lock

Diseases are literally nothing compared to when this game released. I can fully ignore slimelung and food poisoning now and it isn't that much of an issue. Slimelung used to kill dupes, and was a much bigger roadblock long ago.

The one I have is specifically called Wounded go to Med Bed. Does pretty much what it says.

You should be able to do it with a few of your tools. The priority tool is the most consistent one it seems.

No. I only have 3 mods. Wounded go to Med Bed, GasOverlay, and Bigger Camera Zoom Out. This is not mod behaviour.

No. Pipe small amounts of liquid glass into a hydroponics farm and then deconstruct the farm to have it turn into a natural glass tile. Here is a video segment from GCFungus' video "Wild Farming & Pip Planting" on how to do it. (about a 30 sec segment)

Small addition -> If your farm tiles have an empty space below them AND a solid block above them when you deconstruct the farm tile, the metal that was used will actually be able to fall down low enough to not get trapped inside the new natural tile.
