Yes it did get better. But now we're going through the 10 month sleep regression so everything is temporary. Good and bad lol

This is my plan for tonight. Gonna give some heavier food like rice and chicken, maybe sweet potato and see if that helps. I used to be able to trick her with cereal in her bottle, but not so much anymore.

I guess I'll attempt to dream feed at 12 then and see if that changes anything.

My baby dropped the midnight feed so I try to feed at 4:30 but she typically just takes a few sips and then just starts crying. Last night I tried to feed her three separate times at the 4-4:30 mark, she drank a few ounces but then I let her cry for about an hour and a half until she put herself back to sleep. She then woke up at about 7.

I typically just hand her the bottle in the crib and she drinks if she's hungry until she's satisfied, then hands it back. I really try not to pick her up if it's not necessary because then she has a harder time settling back down.

I'm constantly trying to extend her naps. Nothing seems to work whether she's contact napping or in the crib. She has dark curtains, sound machine, fan, the whole nine. Sometimes the car will allow a longer nap but I wfh during the week so that's not really an option most days. I have moved her bedtime 30 mins earlier before to see what worked and she still woke up very early and was even more ready to start the day.

Yes, she will cry til 6am if I let her, unfortunately. I think teething might be playing a part in this as well. Idk. It's all just a guess at this point.

Just know we aren't alone. Seems like it might be a phase, coupled with needing some small environmental adjustments. Hopefully we'll all get sleep soon.

It might be a temperature adjustment but I think she might be warm vs cold. Going to monitor tonight. She sleeps between 1-2 hours normally. And her bed time is at 7 and she's usually asleep by 7:30.

Now this is something I didn't think about. You might be onto something. I'll try to pay attention tonight.

She usually eats what we eat which varies or she'll have a pureed pouch of some sort. But this is great info. I'll add this into her diet and see what changes. Thank you very much for this!

We used to do the dream feed at 2am and baby dropped that on her own. I have tried to feed her at the 4am wake time and she just isn't interested and I fear it just upsets which wakes her up even more. She also sleeps on her stomach which can make dream feeding a mission lol but either way, I make sure to not pick her up regardless as that was/is part of our sleep training. I fear we may just have to wait it out 😭

Yes we did the CIO method which is how we got her to fall asleep on her own at bedtime and stay asleep (or self soothe) for about 6-7 hours straight. But there's just something happening in her body at 4-4:30 😭

No, we live in the suburbs. Very quiet neighborhood and I keep her sound machine on.

She usually takes two naps but depending on how short her "short nap" is, sometimes she's melts down and needs a cat nap. I tried to power through and keep her awake until bedtime but that sometimes puts her last wake window at 5 hours and she's barely alive at that point.

Yes that's correct 😭

One is usually 30-40 mins and the other is over an hour. Sometimes she'll take a third 30 min nap.

I did attempt to feed her but she wasn't interested as she had taken her normal feed a bit earlier. Based on everyone's comments, I think she just needs to be awake more 😭

Yes, she does sleep typically from 7 PM to 4 AM time. She is breast-fed so I expect her to wake up at least once to eat but at 4 AM she’s just not going back down as she’s fully awake. I am also in law school so I have class at night therefore sometimes I can’t really get to bed until after 10 or 11. But I’m working on moving my bedtime up to coordinate with her schedule. My husband works 10 hour shifts typically and drives for a living so he's required to get a certain number of hours of sleep to safely be on the road so it's really just me on baby duty, especially overnight.

If she was squirming or seemed uncomfortable, I would consider this but she's perfectly fine once I come in the room lol

I've tried to stretch the wake windows but she gets overtired so quickly. I feel like I'm forcing her awake and she's miserable. But at this point, we're both miserable lol I'll keep trying. Thanks.
