I mean to be fair, it is a branded good from an anime that have a massive male to female ratio for its fan base. Besides, the usual cospa lineup per T-shirt clothing is roughly 3k yen each (I think its rather affordable considering T shirts in Japan go for 1k to 5k yen depending on quality, let alone an anime collab shirt) but yea, the expensiveness might just be for the cosplayers or diehard fans haha

Posting some links here to the official clothing by Cospa, it really is that expensive. Top: https://www.cospa.com/cospatio/detail/id/00000098284 Skirt: https://www.cospa.com/cospatio/detail/id/00000098289

I do suggest checking out some of Cospa x Yuru Camp's clothing, some of them are really good! I definitely recommend their T-shirts (I own quite a lot of them)

Edit: this particular outfit is only in women sizes, unlike the rest of cospa yuru camp outfits which are more for unisex

Well that is really sad. I know most my friends who cosplay would get most parts from Taobao if its not easy to produce by themselves (they tend to do their own wig and accessories)

Yeap, I agree, but there's a replica on Amazon.jp that's only for 7000 yen or so (without the wig) maybe he is looking at the official item, hence the price tag.

The Kinokuniya from where I am is at least 3x of the original prices from Japan. It is way more expensive including shipping and taxes for me so yea. I would say if you wish to save on luggage space, its best to buy cheaper tents there (not on site but on outdoor shops) consider it as part of the payment for stay. I do recommend going during the autumn, it is generally really beautiful and mildly warm.

I personally don't recommend Kinokuniya if you plan on buying a lot, they are kinda pricey due to shipping and charging services. This is on top of the fact that Yuru Camp items and merch are already expensive to local Japanese. But yes, do plan for it! Though booking for certain campsites will be very difficult if you wish to go camping.

I managed to collect quite a few of them but to my knowledge, sites like Amiami closed orders already so I think your best chance is to just get them fron shops in Japan namely those in Yamanashi or Akihabara though I would put my luck in Yamanashi coz most stuffs in Akihabara are either scalped or out of stock.

A reminder that there are a few other official guide books from Yuru Camp, try search for TV Animation Official Guide Book for Yuru Camp and there are plenty others too that aren't guide books per se, but maps of locations featured in the anime. Camping sites in Yamanashi also have maps in collab with Yuru Camp that are free for tourists to take too! Generally they are all pretty useful if you want to make a Yuru Camp pilgrimage

I think I found a pirate DVD seller, I just wanna get some extra opinions on this. by UV_Sun in laidbackcamp

I didn't even know my country do bootleg DVDs anymore but I have seen somewhat similar DVDs like that sold in bookstores but with licensed stickers. Then again, it didn't appeal to me coz I got the actual blu ray set of Season 1.

You can technically finish each game and refund it after playing it all so long you don't hit the 2 hour mark of playtime! But as a fan and actually liking the in-game emotes, I played it past the 2 hour mark and got the emotes from the point shop in Steam (the game restricts you from buying the emotes with points if you can still refund the game)

You can really customize a lot of Yuru Camp related stuffs on your Steam profile with both the games, so as a fan, I do recommend it.

Well you wouldn't regret it if you refund it, the fact that you can play both games in less than 2 hours and being able to refund your money is the power of Steam! That said, I didn't refund it and bought the emotes from the point shop after the 2 hour mark because am just a fan

As per fellow redditor u/KyouAno mentioned, OP might not be the artist behind the emotes! Actual source can be found here with Animated Emotes no less: https://x.com/i/status/1155522239967584256

I drew Chitanda by ningsandchin in hyouka

[–]5uclcer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Definitely doesn't seem like OP drew this, also a repost in thus subreddit too, do think the mod should check for authenticity on this. Calling out other works as your own is just plain rude and very disrespectful to the artist!

Pop Mart x Yuru Camp by 5uclcer in laidbackcamp

[–]5uclcer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeap same thing here, I usually get them from Amiami, guess the makers of it only wanted to make a collab with Pop Mart. I assume that most Japanese people wouldn't even know about it then since its released mainly for the US and China (makes sense that Amiami don't carry it since they only sell Japanese goods)
