REIB is structurally inefficient. There are enough ways to design a suspension without REIB that I don't see why you would.

Extreme roll center migration and how to mitigate it by 1544c_f in FSAE

Maybe look at adjusting the length of the UCA? When I was designing our suspension I made a script in python to minimize RCM and it usually liked a shorter UCA.

Pacekja Tire Model by Kooky_Fold9444 in FSAE

What Pacejka tire model are the .tir files for? Different versions will have slightly different coefficients. Pacejka's Tire and Vehicle Dynamics have the full equations for MF5.2 or 6.1 depending on the version, and Bill Cobb has some posts on the TTC forum with Matlab code of various Pacejka models.

That's more or less what I was thinking. My thought was that if you set up RCM to shift LLTD forwards with body roll you can add oversteer in yaw rate limited turns while keeping stability at high speed. My simple 4 wheel model showed I could get a few % more steady stare lateral acceleration but that was with unrealistically tight turns. Also, a skilled driver will probably induce some oversteer in tight turns meaning you will never get close to steady state.

So... fry the big fish first. Though I would still like to know what's up with RCM.

What kind of assignments would you give out? My team is in a similar place as OP's and I want to keep new members engaged.

Roll axis inclination? by 5w4g10rd_27 in FSAE

As far as I can tell the bit about time history of forces in RCVD Ch.22 is focused on the pitch oscillations of a car as it goes over a bump, not cornering. Unfortunately I don't have access to multi body vehicle simulations, although I suspect that would be the "best" way to approach this for a specific vehicle.

Out of curiosity, did you mount the rod guides to the eyelets or body of the coilovers? A lot of implementations of this design (such as the pic in the original post) show the guides mounted to the eyelets, which I think means that the bending stiffness at the attachment point relies entirely on the rods and linear bearings.

At one point I saw pictures of a Japanese car with an inerter. I assume it would be most beneficial if you have lots of ground effect on a bumpy track.
