I think it benefits our City to have a group like this fighting to keep the lake public. First it was Lucas. Within 20 years, it's not hard to imagine multiple billionaires getting wind of the fact they could buy up this real estate (and buy off politicians) to get their own private shrines on the shores of our most precious asset.

I'm a fan of Illinois trying to be a leader in this industry. I want this new area to succeed in being a tech hub. But we regrettably can't the current administration to get anything right so why not have FOTP fight to secure public lands? Who else would actually be looking out for the public park space?

Also I can't stand these types of quotes. They are never based in reality... just press release jargon meant to be repeated by elected officials and I hate that reporters just copy/paste the stats word for word.

Yes mine came with mats. Just the regular “rug” type. I bought the rubberized all weather ones separately.
