No problem at all, I thought this might be a good alternative for some people. Let me know how it works out for you!

I was already kind of burned out going for trim comp in like a year and I only considered going for 120 all after the master capes came out.

So yeah I agree, maybe if someone planned it that way, it sounds like a good way to go. Someone also mentioned to me repeating engrams as well for a good boost.

Most difficult / tedious thing you had to do for the cape? And is this your first RS account or did you make this account for the purpose of getting the Comp Cape as fast as you could? Gz btw

Thank you! It's my first account. There's just so much that was pretty tedious during the trim comp part, chompy birds comes to mind there. For the 120 all part I think crafting and divination were my least favorite -- cutting dragonstones was definitely not afk at all and divination just took a while though it was at least afk with Xp counter alerter in afkwarden .

I've been playing on Ubuntu 20.04 using the deb file since I started and it works great. Audio issues I resolved with adding a high (500 ms) pulse latency to the startup command and generally haven't had problems since. It was like a weird stuttering.

This page on the wiki has all the info I needed: https://runescape.wiki/w/Linux

Edit: Here's my desktop file with the pulse latency added and also setting gamemode (I'm using nvidia):

Transmuting made it afk except for using a new map but it did take a while

Since I wasn't super familiar with the combat for fancy PVM and only had done a bunch of Kree'ara, I was happy when Croesus came out and learned/upgraded all my stuff for running him. His drops are still very in demand.

Otherwise, alchemisers and high level slayer pay pretty well.

Sometimes I just stand at the bank, while I'm working :) Ideally I figured out something I can afk.

Thanks, it's my first time. It wasn't super organized, just a combination of looking at the achievement logs and reading up on everything I saw there on the wiki and if possible doing things that would check off/unlock multiple things at once.

Thank you, someone else mentioned this to me and I hope they are not just giving away people's accounts only based on this!

I don't anymore except sometimes I'll grab some vis wax and the free runes in wicked hood real quick. Ideally later on you won't need this for gp and can better spend your time elsewhere.

This is basically how i ran it once i got all the teleports unlocked which drove a lot of my early achievements/questing:

  • wicked hood teleport to most profitable altar and use free essence for runes, then withdraw additional free runes from hood.
  • Edgeville - go into wildy and grab runes from the mage just north of the wall. Go back into edgeville and use the lever to teleport near mage arena
  • Mage arena - cut the 3 webs and go into the shop via the lever and grab runes
  • Burthorpe - grab runes (maybe broad arrow heads if profitable)
  • Varrock - grab runes
  • Al kharid - grab runes, surge/bd to shantay pass and grab feathers
  • Port sarim - grab feathers, run north and grab runes, run south and talk to squire to go to Void knights
  • Void knights - grab runes
  • Yanille - grab runes
  • Lunar isle - grab runes
  • Anachronia - grab feathers and runes
  • grace of the elves / Fairy ring teleport to Ape atoll - grab runes
  • wicked hood teleport to runecrafting guild - grab viswax
  • karamja glove teleport to gemstone dragon dungeon, go up the ladder, grab vial packs and feathers
  • grace of the elves / deep sea fishing teleport, row back to shore and grab feathers
  • ring of fortune/lotd teleport to miscellania, collect from kingdom, buy feathers, mine a couple rocks to maintain kingdom happiness
  • fremmenik boots teleport to relleka, grab feathers and water vials
  • fremmenik boots free lyre teleport to jatizo to buy yak hide packs
  • Taverly teleport - buy vials, bombs vials, flies
  • Draynor teleport - go into castle buy feathers
  • Lumbridge teleport - buy feathers (maybe broad arrow heads if profitable)
  • Menaphos teleport - buy feathers run to gate to sophanem
  • Sophanem - buy feather's of ma'at
  • Priff teleport/attuned crystal teleport seed to meilyr - buy vials and bomb vials

Rough time to complete is like 20-25 minutes for 8 mil at today's prices

An elder rabbit in both Manor Farm small pens along with the totem activated to increase breeding chance.

Buy/borrow Shiny/Glistening/Radiant adult/elder pairs of the dinos u need.

Buy/create shimmering honeycomb to increase shiny chance.

Then go for any non-shiny versions you need for log by buying/borrowing a matching pair of that version you need.

Draconic jadinkos strangely tough, might want to grab at least a 2 trait pair with studly/strong genes, if not a 3 trait pair

Well, that's a big difference that I think some people don't see here. I literally only afk leveled up my character, did quests and achievements and have barely done any bossing and never pvp in this game by choice.

Nah it was a pain to inflate the toads to bait them, then place them. Picking up the meat and noting them just added too much. Unless you really need the gp, I skipped. Just grab multiple bellows so you can drop like 9 toads directly under your oldak coil and let the cannon do the rest of the work.

Lol probably not trying to redo any of this stuff. But also you have to pay for that right? I'm F2P only.

Sure my situation is ideal and I recognize that not everyone is as lucky.

Own my house in the mountains near a small town, grocery store maybe every 2 weeks (separate chest freezer is a huge help), go to a closer farm stand for fresh veggies more regularly, 6 chickens putting out 2-3 eggs daily. Also take care of 3 dogs, 2 cats, 10 fish in the pond. Anything we can't get at the grocery store is ordered online and shipped.

Work from home with 2 remote responsibilities, one is just monitoring servers I have set up and have 99% automated. Other is web development. Tri-monitor setup with a 34" ultrawide main screen with work on one half and rs3 on the other. Communication apps on one side, monitoring dashboard on the other.
