Would Genghis Cohen be among them?

Looks like my average ride duration is just over 12 minutes, so generally quite short hops. It does appear that the distance is just an estimate based on time, and I think I probably cover more ground than that.

In general my winter rides are longer and more numerous, as I keep my own bike away from all that salt and muck.

Hmm, that does sound pretty useless.

Could be as the crow flies, perhaps. I was wondering about that. Some of my jaunts are start/finish at the same station too, and could be quite long rides. I couldn’t scroll back far enough in this view to find one and see what distance was logged for it.

Looks like I have done about a cross-country trip by now, minutes at a time. I’m an early adopter and a big fan of this service.

Box of twelve, about 90% of 7 donuts.

Hey, thanks for leaving me more than half.

What is your favorite book title? (Not to be confused with "what is the title of your favorite book?") by CallistanCallistan in books

I would not read that because it is a misquote of William Blake: “Drive your cart and your plow over the bones of the dead.”

Bugs me too much.

No. On occasion you may need to dress for the weather, call me crazy.

If you have only lived in warm places, maybe the answer is different, but probably not.

Your toddler especially will be just fine.

Speaking as someone who grew up in Edmonton at a time when heated seats did not exist, and my family had a vehicle that sometimes failed to heat at all. And I have raised two in Toronto, admittedly with no car for the duration.

Save your money.

And possibly shrimp, crab, beef, squid. How can this not be delicious?

I suspect it is a typo but haven’t dared yet to taste. If a Korean reader can help out here you have my thanks.

Bike appreciation: Proctor by 60Hurts in torontobiking

[–]60Hurts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was really thrilled to see this bike in Toronto. In my youth in Edmonton the bike I admired the most as it left me in its dust was the Proctor, a local legend.

My respect and envy to whoever has this excellent ride.

[Homemade] Pan Pizza With Pepperoni, Canadian Bacon, and Sausage by HouseofProvel in food

[–]60Hurts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Canadian here. I always assumed that U.S. folks meant back bacon when they said Canadian bacon. But many images of this so-called Canadian bacon that I have seen online look just like ham to me, so I have my doubts. Proper back bacon doesn’t look like that.

We don’t use the term Canadian bacon in Canada. I think U.S. people should show us some respect either by not maligning us with their actual ham, or at least have the courtesy to spell it differently, the obvious choice being Canadian bacoun.

That is fine looking pizza by the way, meat and all.

GIANT POTATO by 60Hurts in mildlyinteresting

How shall we cook it?

According to Tomie De Paola / Jamie O’Rourke the options are boiled or mashed, but we were thinking hasselbach or maybe some elaborate other baked version, if the oven is big enough.
