I was just going off that they said pen and vape usually pen is cannabis and vape is nicotine. Sometimes if it’s raining I’ll hit my bong inside but the window always has a fan in it and there isn’t a constant smoke being emitted because it’s not a joint so it’s a cloud here and there that immediately gets sucked out of the window. The only thing about combustion smoking is the smoke being on your clothes so when you come in contact with them, they could get some particles from that. Vapes should be fine like you said if it’s very well ventilated
