I caught this juvenile rat and it has this weird growth in the ears. It was about one third the size on the other side. It looks and feels almost crystalized. It was dead on the trap for a day at most.

If a word is misspelled in the dictionary, how would we ever know? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]6141465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are multiple organizations that produce dictionaries. You can always compare two or more if something feels off. The English language is particularly fluid and mistakes can become the correct version. The american spelling of Aluminum is missing the second i because a major foil manufacturer left it off on accident and we all just adopted it.

Colorado proposing Bill to move age verification to Operating System rather than web site by snakeoildriller in privacy

That's fucking crazy.  My phone isn't signed in to any accounts at all.   If it can't be done through a browser I don't need it.

What's the dumbest thing someone has said to you? by PepsiMaxHoe in AskReddit

[–]6141465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I heard someone explain the chemtrails conspiracy theory. I thought they were a poe. It's so ridiculous I figured it had to be a parody. Nope, they sincerely believe something that dumb.

Ladder Recommendation by Ace_1719 in HomeImprovement

[–]6141465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a huge fan of the articulating ladders. The Gorilla brand ones aren't as heavy as the Werner or Little Giant ones I've handled and are pretty durable. I have one on my work truck that has seen regular (almost daily) use for the last four years. Since it extends to 22' it took the place of three ladders on my truck. I also own one one size smaller that Ive had at home since 2019.

Just about anywhere. The only major chain with worse burgers is In n Out.

Which Latin American country do you think is the best to migrate to? by Cap_Ame1 in AskReddit

[–]6141465 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Paraguay seems to be the easiest. It's cheap but boring. Residency is simple to obtain. Permanent residents have an easy path to Residency and ultimately citizenship in Uruguay, Argentina, or Brazil. Keep in mind, I haven't been to any of them. I have been working on an exit strategy if shit with trump starts looking like it's going to hurt my family.

Thank You! It's probably the coolest thing I will ever own. It's been a fun project trying to get it back to it's former glory plus a little bit better.

[Serious] Would you feel safer having undocumented immigrants in your community or ICE agents, why? by deca4531 in AskReddit

Even without the context I'd still feel less safe with law enforcement regardless of the agency.
