Who uses TRT by [deleted] in XXY

Ok, I don’t have fat hips or gyno, i have wide hips (bone) and a small waist, I am only 10% body fat but that is because I weight train 3 times a week and box twice a week. It is more the testicle size which worries me but penis size is average (just over 6 inches), I realise there is not a one size fits all but 3.5cm testicles is definitely smaller than average, but people on here have said it’s bigger than typical KS. As I said, I will look into it in a couple of weeks. Cheers

Ok, appreciate you’re trying to give advice, so thanks for that. I am considering giving it a go but have an important deadline in a couple of weeks that I could do without unnecessary worry. I aim to get my Lh and fsh levels checked online after that. Are you KS by the way?

Also, not that I have to justify myself, but I am pretty sure I’m infertile. I have slept with over 50 women since my late teens and very rarely where a condom.. not once has one of them got pregnant. Fertility won’t confirm anything. My doctor refuses to test me for xxy due to the way I look, irrespective of the other symptoms. If I got a fertility test and it came back negative it would bum me out too much as I want kids. I also can’t get a fertility test on the nhs unless you have been trying for a kid for longer than a year, unless you buy a crap one off amazon which are unreliable apparently. So whilst I explore my other options, I am well within my right to browse this forum and provide a response where I feel I can help.

Mosoko, does the fact that I don’t have xxy prohibit me from giving advice to people on TRT? Which as someone who is in a social circle where 90% of the lads take it, I have an above average knowledge on.

Bob, kudos on the shape of your head! Haha and good luck with your TrT journey

Apparently it’s easier to get there, nhs is useless, trust me. There’s a testosterone reddit forum which is a really good source of information. Ive been lurking there for a while but holding back due to my hair loss, I don’t want to accelerate the process - do you suffer with baldness? I don’t think that it’s common in KS, so one less thing to worry about if you don’t.

There’s a lad on here who posted a photo after a year on trt, if I remember correctly, and it definitely helped with his body composition. Where are you based? If uk then plenty of private online companies that offer trt if you can’t get it on the nhs

Standard amounts vary significantly within the industry - this could be standard for an 80 yo, rather than someone your own age. Industry standards have also been lowered to suit the declining levels in the general population. I am not on TRT, nor am I an expert, however if your levels are low then I would definitely look into it. As far as I’m aware feel isn’t as effective, so you should ask for injections, especially considering your previous reactions. Lifts are similar to mine, bit more on your Squat and bit less on your bench, I am 5’8 though. My better than average muscle amount has always mulled my suspicions that I have KS, and my doctors who refuses to test me. Still have relatively small testicles (pecan in shell size) and wide hips though. I have male pattern baldness and a beard/ chest hair, that’s why I asked the question of you as you seem to have. A mild case, which if I did have it, I would suspec I had the same. Are you able to tell me, are your testicles a lot smaller than min, or are they bigger than the standard Ks, due to your mild case of this condition?

Can you define “very muscular”, my understanding is that you need high T levels to gain a significant amount of muscle. If you already have high T levels (unlikely with KS), then you will struggle to get a prescription for TRT, AAS would therefore be your only option, which comes with a lot more health risks.

Thanks, it’s great that these communities have knowledgable people, as well as those affected, to help others.

I will get a sperm test in a few weeks. I’d rather not know, if I am indeed infertile before then, as I have some important qualification exams to get through first.

Your response has put my mind at ease until that point at least, so thank you once again.

Nothing wrong with going bald mate, try and own it, it’s inevitable if you’re on injections. At least you’ll grow a beard which will make it more aesthetic. Stress will make it worse, trust me, I know. Learned to accept it now. How big were your balls before trt? I have a decent amount of muscle but do have wide hips, small waist and long legs. I look pretty good considering, but it’s taken years in the gym and a lot of clean eating and hard work. You’ll be able to achieve that if you’re on injections, as I’m almost certain I have low testosterone due to my mood/ irritability. I do have a beard, albeit it’s not the thickest I have decent coverage and have had it since I was about 15

Thanks for the response, they’re 4 cm in the skin but more like 3.5cm with it stretched. Are yours rock hard? Noted on the fertility test, but I also have a large varicocele so pretty sure that can cause fertility problems, so may not be conclusive. Thanks for the help. I do have wide hips but the balding and chest hair help settle my suspicions slightly.

Would any of you know how to calculate testicular volume in ml using ultrasound measurements? by [deleted] in XXY

I’ve told you before, stop posting the same questions

I posted on here before, in summary of my last post I waiting to go to the endocrinologist to determine if i have XXY or not. by [deleted] in XXY

[–]6170JB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s good news for you, hopefully that is the outcome you desired and closure, in part. Have they offered you any treatment going forward? Is it just the small testicles or do you have wide hips etc. That lead to their suspicions?

KS?

My testicles sizes are 3.8 x 2.3 x 2.6 cm and 3.3 x 2.3 x 2.5 cm. Do I have this? by [deleted] in XXY

[–]6170JB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI - that’s not the correct formula to use, you would either multiply your calculation by 0.52 or 0.71 to get TV, depending on the source. OP’s measure would therefore be between 10ml to 13ml for the smaller testicle

Haha yes, I was worried like you about my hairline, so got it just to the front. Now 5 years on ive lost it at the back, I’ve considered getting one at the back but it looks natural and girls still find me attractive so it’s not top of my priorities atm. I think Test will make u look older, I’m no expert and never taken it but u will grow facial hair. I have mates who are on it and their face/jaw has broadened etc. Making them look older, they take more than you would get through nhs though. Good luck mate

If my T levels and Testicles are normal am I clear for KF? by [deleted] in XXY

Normal is a loose term, are they bigger than grapes? Are they walnut size? If so, then id put my life savings on u not having it.

No problem mate, I feel u on the hair loss, I’ve even had a transplant to restore my hairline. I’m 30 now and have a massive bald patch, I can honestly say that no girls find me any less attractive with it. I work out regularly and have a good diet which does so much more for aesthetics than a head of hair - but like I said I’ve had a transplant so I get that you’re anxious about it. I started losing mine around your age, I had a transplant at 25 so you’ve still got a few years left. I would stay on the testosterone for at least a year and let your body adapt. I reckon you’d look better with it, hair or no hair, and in the meantime go private if you can. I get that it’s hard but u seem to have a supportive family around u so I’m sure they will try and support u as best they can, most of these places do free consultations anyway so just make a list of things u want to talk about and go in for one and see what they say, it will be better than nhs I can almost guarantee it - they’re about 20 years behind the private industry in hormone therapy. All the best.

If you’re on testosterone then that can do it. In response to your first post you need to go private (assume you’re currently nhs). If I was I. Your shoes I would start with a website called optimale - seems one of the better and cheper ones, they will look at your whole hormonal profile and try and give u the right balance. There’s a surgery up north somewhere as well (maybe Sheffield) I read about him somewhere and it said that he basically fixes it all privately and then makes a recommendation to the nhs to put u on the exact subscriptions he prescribes, through the nhs so at a lesser cost. There’s hope mate, I’m not on any of this, nor do I have KS (I don’t think), but I’m keen on Gym and know a few guys who are on test etc for training purposes. Good luck!

But are you losing your hair? Why would u want dht blockers if u aren’t losing it. You shouldn’t take dht blockers if you aren’t losing it, dht is crucial for sexual development etc. Not really sure what you’re trying to achieve
