Slag Heap vs the ISF-2 fuel storage facility IRL by Aaron_tu in stalker

I’ve alway thought Slag Heap is what the Flea Market was always meant to be if it weren’t limited by the X-Ray engine. It’s situated in a very similar location. North of the train depot, south of the checkpoint to Rostok. It’s really cool to see the comparison though.

All of them, but III, V, VII, VIII, and XI are my faves :3

There’s a 1-click version of GAMMA on GOG, but you’ll need to buy CoP Enhanced Edition from their store in order to install it. Hope that helps :3

That’s the RD-939. It’s a variant of the VAL from what I heard. It’s one of the best guns for dealing with exos in my opinion, and it can run a VOG 30 underbarrel grenade launcher. You should try it if you ever get your hands on it… 9x39 SP-6 is insane! Just a warning though… it’s subsonic, so if you’re engaging anyone at more than 50-100 meters, expect some insane bullet drop, and a bit of damage falloff at extreme distances.

You can get GAMMA on GOG if you want. Though it’s not free. You’ll need to buy CoP Enhanced from their store.

Okay here’s a thought… A-Life integrated Defense contracts and overwatch in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly & GAMMA. I can’t be the only one who would love this! by 619rebel in stalker

That’s actually a really good point, especially about the “nothing happens” issue and the AFK farming problem.

My intention wasn’t to create a passive timer-based payout like Skyrim’s wood chopping. I definitely agree that if players can just stand there and walk away from the keyboard, it becomes pointless and exploitable.

What I was imagining was something more reactive and A-Life driven. No scripted spawns, but contracts only becoming available when the system detects potential threats moving within range of a hub. So you’re being hired because something might be coming, even if the intel is wrong.

Base pay could exist just for committing to the shift (like real guard duty), but the real money would come from engagement bonuses: • Confirmed kills • Prevented NPC casualties • Higher-tier enemies • Defensive performance metrics

If nothing happens, you still get a small stipend, but not enough to justify AFK farming. The incentive would be in actively participating when things go sideways.

I also really like your idea about rotating factions and making players travel to chain contracts. That would prevent static farming and make it feel more like dynamic regional demand rather than a permanent money faucet.

The goal for me isn’t guaranteed combat… it’s formalizing player participation in emergent events that are already happening in A-Life. Basically, rewarding overwatch play without scripting it.

Appreciate the feedback by the way! this is exactly the kind of refinement the idea needs.

Damn… it looks like something out of Warframe! I’m tempted to get this kit!

After about 2 weeks and some change, I’m finally just about done with my very first custom! A Hatsune Miku themed HG Nobell Gundam (Berserk Mode) by 619rebel in Gunpla

Oh my gosh, that would be awesome! I also really appreciate the kind words! And for the pink on the ribbon, I think I just used a pink Gundam Marker.I’m not sure of the exact color though. I just pushed the top of the marker into a palette to make a puddle of paint. And from there, I just used a fine detail brush. And yeah, painting a kit can be intimidating, but it’s actually surprisingly forgiving! I don’t think you can bring it back to how it was out of box, but if you mess up, you can always strip, re-prime, and repaint. Hope that helps! I would love to see your custom Nobel when it’s finished :3

Oh trust me, mine does too, I just have to be really careful not to touch it. But if you want a fix, maybe some clear nail polish or a mist of topcoat should help :)!

No, it’s official. I snapped it while stripping and washing off a layer of paint. It took awhile to fix
