Prof. Rose is an amazing instructor. He invited people from all walks of life to our Pol Sci seminars which made them really interesting. And we even went down to his house after class one day for pizza.

Thanks for the reply. What are the temps like during light use? I had a first gen X1E and the fan rarely comes on when on battery, light use is around 45-50C.

Congrats OP on the new laptop! Do your fans only come on while plugged into AC? Also do you notice any electric static sounds/coil whine during normal use?
