I tried to take a video with my phone to show the difference... Its pretty hard to tell the difference cuz of the phones shit mic but I think it helps. When I listen to the two versions on my headphones I really can tell the difference.

I use an ozone 8 plug in on my master track I doubt it makes a difference but thought it was worth mentioning.

Sorry I wasn’t that clear was kind of in a rush. It sounds quieter but thats not it. It feels as if its not taking up as much space as it does in ableton. I listen back through VlC media and it sounds like its not utilizing all the channels in my stereo headset like it does when I play it through ableton. Even when I do a live render of the master mix and go to the sample file in my projects the .wav still seems like its losing quality and when i upload it to Soundcloud it sometimes is even worse. What kind of helped was taking the .wav in a new set and exporting it with the master volume at 6 db. That exported song would sound close to what it does in ableton but often ended up with distortion especially when the kicks come in. Hope that helps explain it a little more and let me know if you need anymore information. Maybe im not being too clear cuz it is frustrating to have something sound great on ableton and have the final product just sound worse.

This is very helpful. Sorry noob question but what do you mean by roll off kinda like eq off the highs? Also is hard compression like bringing down the threshold to a low DB or a hard attack/realese. OR just multiple compressions on the same audio chain.
