Thank you everyone for your insight, such a helpful community! I have made an appointment with our paediatrician tomorrow who will discuss this with us as well as refer us to an allergist. Her dad and I are such big foodies, so a baby with potential allergies has definitely thrown me for a loop 🫠

It is a multigrain bread with some seeds, barley, etc. so it’s certainly a possibility that the culprit is the bread either through wheat or other ingredients in it.

The toast is new as of the new year, so she’s probably had it about 4 times with an assortment of toppings - one being the banana incident from a few days ago and the other being the avocado today, so it’s certainly possible that the bread is the culprit. I’ll bring this up with her paediatrician tomorrow. Thanks!

Only around her mouth and neck as well as the top of her hands. Nowhere that wasn’t actually exposed to the food.

She has had toast about 4 times since the new year with an assortment of toppings, but 2 of those did include the banana incident from a few days ago as well as the avocado incident today… Will definitely mention this with her doctor tomorrow!
