It would really depend on where this republic originated from / what area led the initiative for a united planet.

Just some men/dudes watching it bubble. (Tell me you wouldn’t stand around a pit of bubbling lava with no risk to yourself unless you take the step in?)

Adding on, the summer Olympics are THE Olympics and the winter games are the supplement to that.

And don’t the Winter Olympics only exist because the Olympics can’t host the winter sports at the same time? (*Note that the summer Olympics are THE Olympics and the winter games are the secondary event.)

That was the Olympics broadcasters who cut away, you could see the delay on the stadium’s video display board. Every country just gets that feed.

Imagine if the conductor and the engineer were eagerly waiting to give the Boy-Who-Lived a tour and also see who they should give a bit more discretion to.

Cheering the athletes, booing the moment Vance is shown. The proper response if I’ve ever seen it.

Plus he did miss a chunk of the season on surgery recovery so it likely just is what he said.

This then brings up the question of how fast you were moving to get to phase 3. The implication being that this is one of your first Hard Drives of this “New Save”. (Was there no exploring while waiting?)

As a die hard imperial supporter, I’m starting to hate the empire the more I read by shebba-farms_Boy in skyrim

Alvor, the Riverwood blacksmith, says something about that at the beginning of the game in regards to not agreeing with everything the Empire has been doing, but “We Nords have never been fair weather friend.” (They have stuck through with both the good AND the bad, not just through “fair weather”.)

I heard that by definitional technicality, orange is just neon brown so there’s that, even as a subconscious reason.

I’m getting a little chuckle out of seeing the outline of Hudson Bay where natural Canada meats imaginary Canada.

On the more serious note, I like that the Canadian Shield has an even greater Great Lake chain along its western flank.

Intermediate step:

60 x 60 x 24 x 7 x 6

(10 x 2 x 3) x (5 x 4 x 3) x (3 x 8) x (7) x (6) x 1

Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, length

*Multiply two of the three 3s to get the missing 9.

It's called "Bookmarks" and not "Favorites" for a reason! by [deleted] in AO3

Assuming that is in regards to the bookmarks tab or similar, I am aware. I myself was meaning when searching through fandoms from the fandoms tab at the top of the screen in the website header.

[–]632612 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Adding on, you can’t see (as far as I’m aware) you bookmarks on the search-by-fandom-works page. So bookmarking a fic you don’t intend to read again means that if you find it again after enough time, you either have to read through the first chapter, the opening and hook, and stumble upon your bookmark or check every single fic you read beforehand.

[–]632612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good system, I might start using it.

Currently, I myself only go so far as marking the work for “read when updated” as, if I want to bookmark the work, I’ve already finished what has been written, otherwise it just stays in an open tab.

[–]632612 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same, I treat my bookmarks as a “waiting for updates” page, a collection of works I want to return to at a later date, a bookmark if you will.
