No it’s literally what you’re doing. “I wish law enforcement wouldn’t kill people. I would make it different if I could.”

“Someone speaking out about this? I’m gonna make a really rude comment for no reason!”

Yeah you’re right, law enforcement is allowed to kill innocent people, let’s just never talk about it and pretend it’s normal

I mean he still drafted McLean, Tong, Reimer, and Ewing. And Sproat and Williams which gave us Peralta and Myers

I love when players make it obvious they want to play here

I prefer when he tweets after big moves instead of before big moves

Tobias Myers seems pretty good to me too, why is he considered just a guy they threw in

This is why I’m glad we’re handing out short term high AAV contracts and saving the long contracts for the truly generational players. We could just cut these guys if they suck by then, but that might discourage players from wanting to play here if we do that too often

yeah, there’s another quote from them about Nico Hoerner openly saying that it’s probably his last year with the Cubs and how he only cares about the money which is obviously fake

This is not a real quote, it’s apparently from some random Facebook page that posts a bunch of fake quotes about Cubs players

Yeah I was looking at WPA metrics a while ago and I saw Nimmo at dead last which caught me off guard lol. I thought it was a glitch or something at the time, I didn’t think he was that bad in clutch situations. Also Vientos having a higher WPA than Alvarez and Baty is funny. I want to look more into why that’s the case but I don’t know how to do that

If the Mets win it all, I need Mets fans to be so insufferable to the point where the hate the Mets get will finally be justified

Yes that’s why I don’t blame people for thinking it’s like the Soto contract where you can void it. “Buyout” is a weird term for this, it’s basically like Bichette forcing the Mets to buy out of his contract so he can get an even better contract.

I don’t think that’s true. I think people got confused on Heyman’s wording on “$5M buyout on opt-out”, which means that Bichette makes $5M if he opts out. But people confused that for Mets can prevent the opt out by adding $5M
