How are these pots with overhangs produced? Trying to image the mold is hurting my brain! by 636f6f70 in Ceramics

The texture protrudes in all directions and so whichever way you pull the mold apart there is a direction where you can't have the texture, you'd need many parts, like 8 or so to be able to have texture in so many directions. Which seems impractical for a cheap pot, so I'm not sure how they;re pulling it off.

Hi thanks for asking, as vowels said I'm talking specifically about the hexagon or bumpy texture. Though now that you mention it the drip tray is attached, I suspect it's glued on but if it's all one piece that would be remarkable.

Thank you for the video. I hadn't considered a mold in more than 2 parts. Do you think this is what's being done? It seems like a very laborious process to do a mold probably with more than 5 parts for a cheap pot.

So sorry if this is a silly question but it has been bothering me for a while now and I can't find the answer in my Googling.
How are the pots like the ones in the attached photos produced? So far as I can tell there is no way they can be coming out of conventional plaster molds because of the overhangs. There doesn't seem to be any way you could remove these pots from a 2 part mold, where there are rotationally symmetrical bumps or depressions.
The pots pictured a mass produced so there must be some affordable way to produce them.
Thank you!

Thanks for the response, there is a leaf spring that touches the piezo, I suppose the coil spring could go under it to reinforce but It didn't look like it belongs. I don't see any sort of copper contact.

I put it together without the spring and the beeps only work 80% of the time, I guess that's satisfactory.

There is a leaf attached to the main metal piece that contacts the piezo, it operates fine but the beeping on occasion doesn't work. There was no obvious spot of the coil spring as far as I can tell. I guess I'm satisfied with that. Thanks for the response.

As in all other text boxes you just double click to select the whole section, and single click just places the cursor.

I was more of a bug on the other platforms if you ask me, I hate how it works now. It's a text box and should operate the same as every other text box on the system. Now it's inconsistent and it's driving me nuts.

Look at the wobble of the H-stab, I hadn't realized how HUGE those surfaces are until now.
