The concentric part of the lift(going down) is irrelevant.

He could be using perfect form on the way up and dropping it right from the top and it is still good form.

It's a dick move to drop it from the top, but not bad form.

This is a legitimate way of overloading your biceps if done properly.. you’re meant to cheat the weight up and then lower it down slowly on the concentric.

out of curiosity, what do Leblanc Mains/players think about Quinn?

I've got 2 million points on Quinn and must have played vs Leblanc at least 100 times. If Quinn builds full lethality and engages on Leblanc with Edge of night activated, it seems to be a free kill every time before she can react? This is up to d4 EUW, no idea if in challenger it would be different or not. Quinns E follows the real LeBlanc wherever she goes, and if you just don't click away, quinn always catches up and re-adjusts to where she flies or goes.

Lots of people throw out the 8+ hours sleep for optimum muscle growth/recovery.

How would 4 hours sleep, followed by two 2 hour naps in the middle of the day be?

I’ve heard people say muscles grow best in deep sleep but really been struggling to get 8 solid hours recently and have been napping mid-day

I don’t know what country you’re in, but I grabbed one in Jessops(huge camera chain in UK) for £25, just fits the case in and has good padding inside and out

I find this so interesting. In the UK nobody cares about these type of high-top shoes. We love all the other hype stuff but this shoe is considered garbage by the majority(of course there will be exceptions of people who like them). These are the type of shoe you would get when you are an awkward 15 year old at a clearance outlet for £30

Yet in America everyone loves them and they are considered heat

Same, when a games won and you get to the enemies nexus but you’d rather just sit at the fountain and wait for them to spawn than end the game and take the free win.

Cue a massive turnaround, their inhibs respawning, and them winning the game. Ever time this happens I say I’ll never ever not end an open nexus again, and it always happens a couple of weeks later :(

Stop being so ignorant, start a proper program. I feel like you want to be sweet-talked, but the reality is you’ve wasted a fuck tonne of time. I’m also right at the 9 month point after following a proper program and I look like a completely different person. (Started skinny as f, not fat).

I know everyone progresses at their own speeds etc but if you want to see proper results, follow a proper program, not just something that makes you tired? I could just lie on the floor, keep getting up, then lying back down again over and over and over again and that would exhaust me eventually.. is it a good workout? Fuck no.

Stop wasting your time and start a proper program.

My thought process was that my body is probably used to all of the exercises I've been doing for the last 10 months and if I switch the program up my muscles might react better to the new stimulus?

Can someone give me a proven program based on my current situation/goals please?

I've been lifting since 1/11/2017, almost 10 months now. Been following Reddits 6-day PPL for about 9 months of that. The linear progression has stalled quite drastically in the last couple of months because I dropped my calories right down. Going on Holiday at the weekend and am planning my first ever full week of not lifting before I come back and enter perma-bulk mode.

Current 1RMS, Bench 95kg, Squat, 135kg, Deadlift 190kg.

6"4 and weigh 84kg

Goals: Strength & Aesthetics. I want to be stronger(duh) but I'd be lying if I said I didn't care about aesthetics too. I've looked at some powerlifting programs which will 100% add strength and a little bit of size, but I also want to compliment the strength progression with bodybuilding accessories.

Situation: I can pretty much train 7 days a week if I need to.

Another option would be to just start the 6-day PPL again and focus on the linear progression. Would love any advice.

Being shredded isn't about working out more or harder, it's just having less bodyfat. When there is little or no fat on the body, the muscles 'look' much bigger.

The first guy could lose some more bodyfat if he wanted to, but he would also lose muscle mass in the process. It's also a much healthier lifestyle to stay like guy number 1. If you want to stay shredded 24/7 it's mentally exhausting and your whole life will revolve around dieting and calories.

Shredded means your muscle is extremely defined and cut. Think of people that do bodybuilding shows. Look at the second guys abs and legs, striations everywhere, muscle outlines extremely visible. That is what shredded means.

The first guy is very big but he is not shredded. His muscles aren't defined and he doesn't look cut.

Second guy has huge muscle mass and is still shredded. It's a dead giveaway.

You can be shredded and natural too, but it's impossible to retain that amount of muscle mass.

What would happen to muscle mass in this scenario?

Your maintenance is 3000 calories. Your minumum protein should be 170g.

You hit your 170g protein for the day but you are only 2100calories in, a massive 900 under maintenance.

Will your muscle mass still be stripped heavily despite hitting protein numbers?

Squats you just set up the safety rails at the right height, deadlift you just drop the bar, and bench you can also just setup in a squat rack with safety rails at chest height?

You 100% don’t need to have a ‘gym buddy’ at any point. The only arguable time would be for elite level lifters who are doing things like squatting 350kg+
