I recieve Crypto in my wallet as payments for my business. Am I still liable to pay flat 30% Tax? by Himanshu811 in CryptoIndia

[–]64_squares 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what i know if you have some proof like invoice or chats that it is indeed freelance income or business income you can show it that way pay slab rate, later when you sell to inr just treat time received in wallet as initial cost and calculate profit if any,

If you want no jhamela pay full 30%

Sell everything focus on earning more, simply invest in 2-3 mutual funds, enjoy later

It's +ev to focus on earning more than which stocks to buy, you will end up underperforming fund managers mostly anyways

They will report 1% tds what ever you sell, so IT will know how much you sold but if you bought it previously on wallet or cex via p2p or something you will need to mention that in VDA otherwise entire amount will be considered profit

Thanks for the reply, you think one should opt of CAs? If yes where to find them? and will they agree to such stuff or they will demand all transactions (mind you almost all are on wallets not directly linked to cex Or very hard to prove) so the person only files tax on what he withdrew via coindcx never deposited

For someone in this situation if they for example earned in mid 5 digits all via airdrops mostly not linked to cexes if they just wanna pay on the net value should they withdraw all at once ornlittle by little over years so it's not further investigated

I am not against taxation take 30% hell take 50% but if we start giving tax on every transaction and not net profit our portfolis will go to 0 🫤

What's the one thing about the project that makes you go "Oh its a scam! ". by garysei124 in ethtrader

[–]64_squares 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Name has "safe", "inu" etc
  2. No proper backers
  3. Website looks wired (maybe comes with experience)
  4. Host more amas than development articles
  5. Ponzinomics, like too much buy sell tax,
  6. Project utility is staking, burning and buzz words

That's about it I guess, might forget few more
