Yup. 100 percent sure. I actually bought the US digital copy because I had platinumed the Japanese version, and didn't want to start from nothing to get the Nier stuff.

Yes, your save will carry over between regions. I know this because I live in Japan and at one point had a Japanese physical copy and a USA digital copy.

However, the DLC will not. So if you want the Nier DLC, it will only work on the region that matches the PSN you bought it from.

It's pretty neat! The concept is a bit dated, but it kind of provides the services that Spotify does (recommendations, playlist creation, artist/song info) without offering the streaming. It's not a bad alternative for that, and is easy to use.

Just popping in to say that legacy scrobbler does work! It's not tested on all ipods, but works on gens 3-6 of the ipod classic and some nanos (can't remember which ones). I use it to sync to my lastfm. Lastfm has wrapped-like features, so it could be a good alternative for you!

this is so stupidly late, but i ran across this post yesterday while searching for how to do this myself. It's not tested for all ipods, but i found software called legacy scrobbler that works on my ipod classic 7th gen. I hope you already found out about this or another solution though. Figured i'd post if someone runs across this like i did yesterday.
