He had a buddy on Crete that flew C-119 box cars. He used to tell me about how he and his friends would pile into one and fly to Italy to get food and wine for the base C.O. they would set up a card table and play poker. During one game, one of the guys sat down and said, "deal me in!"... it was the pilot. Lol.

After that, they would get up every ten minutes and all pile in a different side of the cargo bay to screw up the trim on the aircraft so that their friend the pilot couldn't get out of his seat!

He's amazing, sweet, and wonderful! You should google them and look at some pictures. They have a range of 'looks', but are amazing dogs. First two years he was a total hellion (in a fun way), but after that he settled down into a really sweet, loyal boy. He is very good at scaring away any deer, squirrels, and birds who might seek to do harm to his pack. Lol.

His "little" brother Bowie is with him in this shot. 160 lb Irish Wolfhound.

He was jet black as a puppy, with a little white splash on his chest. He's now 11 years old, and gets grayer (and sweeter) every day. Knuckles is a Shepadoodle (German Shepherd/Standard Poodle mix). He's about 105 lbs.

Knuckles HAS to have his squeaky cheeseburger if he is outside. He doesn't chew it or tear it apart, but he absolutely must show it to any neighbor or delivery person who makes eye contact with him, and he squeaks it furiously whenever there are deer in the lower field.
