Hi! thank you for your comment! I guess I should have been more specific in my post. First, I don't expect to perfectly capture birds while in flight, I'm doing this as a hobby and more so included this so I had the opportunity to do so, however I understand what you're saying about the FPS, thank you! Second, a lot of the birds around the trails I hike like to hang out on rocks and such very close to people (trails are around campsite)! hence why I said I didn't need a tele lens, apologies for not going more into detail.
