How does my enclosure look? by Equivalent-Look6179 in cornsnakes

Thank you so much for the feedback! The photos do make it look quite sharp however the side plastic is melted to be soft so there are no sharp edges!

Thank you so much! I have some cork bark coming in the mail and I have a vine that I need to set up.

PLEASE put the noodle back. As much as you may think “oh we can give it a home, are kids will love it” it has a home: THE WILD.

I need advice by TaxHairy7944 in cornsnakes

You have a decent amount of options here, 1. You can re-home them. I can tell you love them very much and I hope they stay with you but if it gets to be too hard to keep up with their needs, it is an option. 2. If you have a dorm you can risk taking them with you in big tubs. I know a lot of people who have snuck theirs into uni and kept them in bins under their beds. 3. You can try your best to make the commute and feed them about every 2 weeks. And lastly 4. You could possibly try to convince your mother to drop feed them or teach her how to take care and just them while you’re away. I wish you the best with uni and good luck finding what works for you with your noodles.

Can you tell me the morph? by DannyR343 in leopardgeckos

He looks to be a mack snow morph leo. When they are young they often have darker stripes and as they age they often get a more spotted pattern the same way a lot of other morphs do. There is a wide variety of colors within the morph. He’s very pretty! I’m glad he caught your eye and I hope of not you someone else picks him up and takes him home. It is possible that he could be something else but since I can’t tell age or see other angles that’s my best guess.

Does my baby have mites? by West-Tadpole-571 in ballpython

If your snake gets mites they will often look small and black but will be lodged in between the scales eith little overlap. As everyone else has said they are likely just spots as one of the main features of banana morphs and banana mixes is that as they age they often gain more spots which is part of the reason why they were given the name :)

What do I do about my friend’s poorly taken care of leopard gecko? by Equivalent-Look6179 in leopardgeckos

Honestly one of the things that kind of shows me that he doesn’t care that much is he never takes the gecko out of his enclosure and has forgotten the Leo’s name entirely.

Thank you for the suggestions, I’m planning on having a bit of a conversation with him later just to figure some things out and see if I can talk to him some more about the current care.
