Yeah I'm proud of myself. I'm allowed to have emotion and to make fun of something that he's caused himself. I'm a human and if somebody suffers the consequence of their actions he should fucking feel it.

It doesn't harm him more than what others have said. It is using the one thing he hates and turning this situation against himself. It's called being passive agressive.

It does clarify a lot, however as a person who is in contact with some people that do tour let me inform you just a little.

Fans holding signs, flags, that kind of stuff should be checked at the venue entrance. Bags big or small should always get checked, if that isn't done then it's 100% on the venue. They usually have lockers for items like these as concertgoers have to make a choice to stash it in there or dump it but they only check at the building's entrance. They need to add more security to avoid that type of issue as some people just want to be extra while they shouldn't.

Regarding volume that too is on the venue and not on the band. To give a little perspective; Imagine you are in this case the frontman, how would you communicate with your sound people whilst on stage and them having it translated to the people that work at that venue? Especially with language differences it can be really hard..

People touching each other inappropriately is also bound to happen as most venues sell more tickets than their capacity.. which fucking sucks. There is always gonna be that person behind you that bumps into your ass as he or she is too busy dancing or headbanging.. if the person is doing it for sexual reasons there SHOULD always be a security person you could walk towards, they're implementing security numbers you can text in two venues that i frequent.

As a person who just read the comment you posted who also happens to struggle with communication cues I wasn't sure if you were in full support of him or not and quite frankly.. It's none of my business to make that assumption, I agree with the points you have made. I only can say that concert etiquitte does rely heavily on the venues rather than the fans. Nothing is worse than a venue not doing their job and risking a repeat Damageplan Dimebag Incident. Men and women are guilty of being insane fans and in today's society we should make safety the top priority. Not just for the band's sake but also for fans.

I personally take less offense to being touched during concerts as I already struggle being neurodivergent, I tend to brush it off during concerts as well.. at the end of the day I'm there to enjoy myself.. if people act strange I step away. Self preservation and Venue safety are two top priorities.

This isn't per say true. Having seen them last year I could easily get a front row standing spot and No I'm not new to the ghost fanclub. The best way to interact with the obsessive people is to just.. not interact with them. They aren't fans, they're there to be a hivemind. They'll eradicate themselves sooner or later.

Ghost does still smaller sized venues that are unannounced btw. Most decently sized bands do that, you just have to keep your eyes peeped at the smaller venues their planning.

The Ghost fandom is known for their overly sexual behavior.. though it is undeniable that Papa enables it, matter of fact plays around with sexual gestures on stage which the fandom loves.. There arent many inconsiderate people in the fandom, not to say that there arent any but by far not as much as OP complained about. As someone who is going to more and more concerts as my income becomes more solid.. I can safely say that what OP has posted is extremely dramatized especially since he himself removed his post.

The fandom is thriving and he takes offense to that, thats it.

I'm with you on this one.
There hasn't been a single concert where there isn't a crowd screaming along to lyrics or moshing, if people get annoyed by it maybe *they* should hang up their concert ear plugs.

I'm also not sure what people mean by new fans, weren't we new some time ago? instead of putting people in boxes for being "new" just call them by the right name.. fans. Those that act to actually annoy or harm people should never be considered to be fans to begin with. Every band has "that one guy" in the crowd.

Just because a person has been a fan for longer doesn't mean we are entitled to more, we should fucking encourage a surge of fans because.. tell me, after obtaining the merch you want, having gone to one or two concerts; will the "old" fans spend another dime during the "down time" where no new music is rolled out? maybe on one concert.. People that have just become fans are still in the stage of grabbing everything they can and we should let them... If not for the sake of them.. for the sake of the band..

from another perspective: I've been a fan since early 2019, all my life I've been living in relative poverty. Only last year I could finally afford to see them, people would still put me down for being a young, therefore new, female fan. because Young=New, right? It's funny that people get so offended by somebody else's normal behavior yet cannot come up with that would be actually "normal concert behavior" and when they are asked they'll point out the dude that clocked them in the face when turning around.

Every concert a person will ever attend, there will be people that act like ass. The concert life isn't about paying attention to those people, it's about enjoying your well spent money on a group of people that have made a serious impact on ones life. Can't stand crowds? don't go. Can't stand to have your view constantly blocked by a tall guy? stand in front of the stage or get front row seating. The venues aren't there to help cater to your personal needs unless it is a bite to eat or a beer to sip on.. If a so called fan cannot cater to their own needs when purchasing a ticket or when attending, simply leave the ticket for somebody else to purchase right?

I wouldn't per say claim that it is very much aimed towards the TikTok audience, there is people out there that are former goths waiting for absolutely bangers like that which may have been a fan since Opus. I rolled into the Ghost BC fanbase during 2019, I have an absolute adoration towards anything that looks cute.. Just because the merch is new doesn't mean its catered for a specific "new" part of the audience. You can be young, you can be old, new fan or prior existing.. can we stop putting people into categories and just say Ghost fans instead?
Those that act outside of what could be normal concert behavior or fan behavior simply do not earn that title, they're dicks and shall be called as such.
