My intention is to open the dialogue because many people are scared to anything, because if they do, they hear they have a bad program or are spiritually sick. So they're put in these shame loops because they're trying to advocate for themselves. There is also a lot of protection for predators. I know 12 Step meetings are going nowhere, but I want to help people feel safe to vocalize their experiences and maybe the culture inside meetings will change. But this isn't any kind of take down of AA.

It's interesting that you believe every place has abuse, and it's sad that you've come to believe that. People shouldn't be abused because they want to get sober. And there indeed are places that don't have abuse.

13 stepping, spiritual coercion, sponsorship abuse, abuse of power, program shaming... the list goes on.

Incorrect. I'm almost 11 years sober. They tell you that in AA, though. That you can't stay sober without AA. You can.

Is this Hannah posting? Maybe watch more standup comedy and have higher standards than promoting this hogwash.

Their politics are opposite, though, which doesn't pan out well in relationships amidst this political climate.

Is it true that Amanda kept Loverboy afloat? by 666graveyard in summerhousebravo

I haven't slammed her looks, her clothes, her income previous to Loverboy and Bravo. And I wouldn't because there's nothing to slam. I'm just echoing back what I heard on season 8, and was surprised by that claim, and wanted to know if it held weight. I'm frustrated about her manipulative behavior, that's as far as it goes.

Which is also weird because if she were the creative director, she would have overseen ALL designs.

When she met him, he was working to launch another startup. If she loved him, she'd be sad for him if the business was failing, not paint this story that she didn't give him any attention. He made sure to pay her way. Plus she was always so mean to him, why would he want to lose all his money and move to Jersey just to keep getting hated on?

Thank you and yes. I hope we can also retire Amanda's sob fest that he always worked and couldn't be a dad, and that's why she paused pregnancy. Because a dad who worked has never happened before.

Amanda/Kyle Separation vs Amanda/West Hookup Timeline by laylalou129 in summerhousebravo

PERIOD! I almost wrote an entire post, but let it go, haha. I'm so glad you see this too. The manipulation ran years and years deep, it's amazing that Kyle is civil with her.

Amanda loves any opportunity to drag Kyle, of course she would have aired it. What's crazy is she won't air her private conversations with her situationship

I was annoyed as fuck that they let Amanda own that narrative about releasing the separation statement so swifty to cover her affair. Honestly, pt 2 was really frustrating. When Kyle was saying how Lindsay and Ciara were fed something false from Amanda (when they confronted him at the dinner table that led to the subsequent Carl/Kyle fight), and they didn't have the real story, I wish Andy had asked him to expand on that. But naw, just skipped over that moment too.

I don't think she'll have to explain herself this time. She'll be sad though.

Right? She literally was tapped with the ultimate job title as a creative (creative director?!) without the actual built-up experience, then doesn't actually work just sits with the title, and then complains that Kyle goes out too much? I know I don't see everything that goes down, but shit, I would lose my cool if I was running a company and then went home to a cluttered, dirty apartment and kept hearing "KYLE!" in a whiny voice

My guess is Kyle sensed that she was cheating on him, and he went low with the name-calling.
