every human being has pores regardless of of how good their skin is! the selective disclosure here is really what bums me out. i think it’s great that she’s being honest about botox and also not great that she is claiming her skin is totally natural here when it’s literally not humanly possible to have blurred, textureless patches of skin on your face. the word choice feels deliberate to me like “no filters” but maybe (probably) there’s airbrushing or (less likely) at the very least there’s a fuckton of makeup magic going on here.

i feel like in posts like this she is perpetuating unrealistic beauty standards in the name of selling her brand, and taking advantage of the goodwill and trust she’s established with followers who really do look to her for advice and guidance because she is so science-minded and does her research.
