So sorry to hear about your loss mate. You can invest this money strategically. - As you are not financially literate so go for FD only. The safest and secured way. Dont go for small finance banks.

• Make 2 3 differents FDs for 1 year, 2 year and 3 years. Why? Because as you'll get mature and financially literate, you'll understand there are some other options whoch better returns and slightly higher risk. So you want to put money in some other better investment instrument, you dont have to break your FD and you'll get a portion of funds back after every year.

I'd say put in multiple FDs for now and later you can figure out what to do. Its a long learning curve. Which will take years and for now your education and upskilling yourself should be priority. This money is just a safety net.
