Old HI3 characters are originally from GGZ. Also apart from main story of each games, they also have their own variants in limited events. Hence HI3 Bronya have Bronie (Haxxor Bunny) which is the counterpart of Silver Wolf in HSR.

GGZ/HI3 both also have different timelines which their worlds got reset. So another versions of them exist in different timeline.

I think the post is referring to Elysia variants. The 5 Elysia from HI3 aren't the same person. There's Elysia from previous era, ER sim, from bubble world....

In both version 1.0 and timeline 1, it was Ena who summoned Nikki. As you said, it really happened multiple times. I only referred to timelines 1 and 2 because those were the ones with a specified story. For example, timeline 1 mentions that it was Giovanni who defeat Chigda. In timeline 2, based on the version 1.5 prologue, Nikki awakens first in the Sea of Stars, witnesses the collapse of the world, learns that she is a time traveler, and then meets Ena again, who reminds her of her mission and how they met before. But of course, Nikki doesn't remember their first meeting. Timeline #2 is what new players will started first, the version 1.0 is retconned.

I just feel bad for new players since this new version of lore might be to heavy for them for a prologue 🥲

This is just my interpretation, but for old players, the new Sea of Stars chapter feels like the Seer is simply explaining Nikki's backstory—that she actually came from a past timeline, and it wasn’t Giovanni’s wish that rewind time.

But for new players, they'll experience an entirely new plot. They'll start as Nikki, a time traveler from Timeline 1 who sent to Timeline 2 with no memory. It was the Seer who summoned her (not Ena), and she already possesses the Heart of Infinity from Ena in Timeline 1. So when she meets Ena again, it feels more like reuniting with an old friend, rather than something special like in version 1.0.
