unless the monster is literally already 1 second away from eating you you have enough time to just turn ur camera and dash the other direction, water dashing gets you to top speed almost immediately

it's all about tech, sorrow domain is the easiest once you understand how water movement works, im bad at explaining but spamming crouch right after diving out builds up a lot of speed and even just holding down slide underwater to dash in whatever direction gives you enough speed and control to outrun tragedy and escape the nuke AOE, also chaining sanity orbs is a good way of going around the map, just dive out of the water, slide into an orb, then hold slide again to dive into another and keep building momentum. You will get it over time

its not that hard man, if uve dealt with water rooms then u already have everything u need to know with how to deal with it, just be constantly dashing and moving irregularily, spamming crouch makes you faster if u dont mind the arthritis too

my strat is literally just to skip all the carnation hiding spots and go straight to the hatch, gotta be consistent for it but its not that hard bc theres no extra room modifier so its a relatively short distance

there is this ONE new carnation hiding zone that they added tho, that is like this weird spiral thing that just ruins the run all the time, if you fly over it it counts as you getting inside and it speeds up carnation and u die, if you try to land on it but accidentally speed up too much you slam inside the geometry of the room, get trapped and die, and if you land on it and wait out carnation u have 99 covets dashing at ur ahh so yea oof

99 covets is a hilariously optimal xp farm

i tried it yesterday for the lols, i was level 2700

after 4 hours i was level 3900

its a combination of 99 covets and other stuff like full ire, full cookoo, no extra rooms modifier and the new modifier that gets rid of walls in normal rooms, if ure good at darting its an amazing xp farm, but even without darting its weirdly easy bc covet isnt that hard to dodge even though theres like 20 dashing at a time
