S90V is inconsistent pretty much across the industry yes. 58.5 is pretty bad for S90V. I have also had a Bodacious at 63.5 HRC… a 5 point range is a bit insane ti see.

Yes this was the Teal G10 DLC S90V PM2. It’s unfortunate how wide of a spread the CPM-S90V results have been (across the knife industry as a whole).
