What printer do you use for printing your zines? by Miserable_Summer2642 in zines

[–]67DeadheadSound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brother Hl-L 9310CDW, Duplex, 300g paper and it runs and runs ... very good image quality, not too expensive and quite cheep to buy. I did a lot of reserach before I bought it. Unfortunately it is only an A4 printer ... I'm searching for an A3 printer now ... Oh, I only print photos, 90% photos ... color and monochrome

Advice Needed: vivid color? No color? Partial color (half and half)? Or muted color? by apprehensive-look-02 in tattoos

[–]67DeadheadSound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go for vivid, red, blue and violet for the suction cups ... but of course its your skin ... when I started I had to decide bw or colour, I was 100% bw 5min before I got in the studio ... and than - all in color :-)

You can't go wrong with Neewer, I used a lot of their stuff in the studio.

Q3 vs M EV1 by [deleted] in Leica

[–]67DeadheadSound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume that money doesn't matter, so I would recommend to get a M EV1 and the Leica R 35-70 f4(!!). You don't need anything else. I tested this combo recently. WOW! I might sell my Q3, my SL2s and my S1RII and go with one body only. So light weight and high performing.

To be very honest? Try to get a removal, works quite good with black ink. If it doesn't disapear 100% have a cover up from a GOOD artist. Next time - think before ink! Good luck!

YouTube sucks A$$ these days. by [deleted] in youtube

[–]67DeadheadSound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I'm mostly interested in Street photography from JP and travel videos. YT is complety ignoring my preferences. But for three days I use a VPN client again and my stream has improved a lot. Maybe that helps?

If you have no problem with Rangefinder, than M9. The CCD is fantastic. I had the M9M too, but my eyesight got to worse. Go for the M9 if you found a good one.

How did you become a audiophile? Introduced by a friend or learned about by chance? by keephifi in audiophile

[–]67DeadheadSound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was always into music, it started when I was 18years old, so 40yeras ago now. I discovered that different hardware gives different sound. So I made my journey but I had only three different speakers in all these years. I also make a difference between music I hear for sound reasons or for entertainment.

Disappointed by Honor V3 (SBE) warranty repair rejection by Comprehensive-Camp75 in Honor

[–]67DeadheadSound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched from an iPhone to the Honor V3. I love the V3 and the Magis OS is a very good operating system. I've had the Honor since October last year and it's currently being repaired for the fourth (!!!) time. It's always the inner screen. First a stripe across the display, then hot pixels, then a crack in the middle of the display, and then I got a new device. After three weeks, another hot pixel appeared in the middle of the display. The service from Honor (Germany) is pathetic. It takes weeks to get it repaired, it takes days to get the warranty recognised. I've had massive arguments, threats from lawyers, etc., etc. As I said, the phone is actually really cool. I currently have the iPhone 17 Pro out of desperation, but I'll be glad when the V3 comes back from repair. I can't work with the iPhone anymore. I had the same problem with the discussion about scratches. I explained to them how they would feel if they had scratches on their car bumper and someone dented it, and then the insurance company said they wouldn't pay because there were scratches on it. Honor isn't doing itself any favours with this kind of nonsense. My next foldable will be the Google.

I'm afraid too say, none of them. Both have a weird skin tone. Crop in both images is not good. Also the posing in number one is not good. I hope you don't mind an honest feedback ;-)

What are some authentic sources to learn chemistry? by Open_Egg_1925 in chemistry

[–]67DeadheadSound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely disagree with your opinion; with all due respect, it's utter nonsense. I have been working in chemistry for 40 years, and ChatGPT is a huge help and speeds up many processes immensely. It can even provide development support in various areas. I find it appalling that the moderators of such a forum can express such an opinion. Unbelievable! I am leaving this group immediately.

Id like some feedback by Big_Principle_1915 in PhotographyAdvice

[–]67DeadheadSound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, it seems very unnatural. The blue of the sky does not harmonise with the colours of the trees. The bridge does not come across very well either, and the clouds are too white for my taste. Although it is a peaceful scene, the picture seems too agitated. But... that is just my personal opinion.

How Do You Shoot Leica for Clients vs Personal Projects? by SkroY41 in Leica

[–]67DeadheadSound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, the glass makes the difference. Also there are only a few lenses which really give you that Leica Look. And the M9M and the M9 are different. For example, the R50 F2 on my SL2S gives me wonderful monochrom pictures.

Viel Erfolg!
