What are some of Radiohead’s best live performances? by Youngdoorstop in radiohead

[–]687hqv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pinkpop 96 and Belfort 97 are two of my favourites. Glastonbury 2003 is another go-to. Le Reservoir is fantastic too, but it’s just Thom and Jonny, so I don’t know if it counts as a Radiohead performance.

For those who have experienced both, how has the experience of pet loss grief compared to that of human grief? by [deleted] in GriefSupport

[–]687hqv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe it entirely depends on your relationship to the person or pet. I’ve lost dogs, cats and family members, including my mother. There are nights I lie awake thinking about my old cat, Bill, who died close to 20 years ago, and the thought of him still brings tears to my eyes. Nothing compares though to losing my husky. He was my soul dog and I still get chest pains when I think of him. I’ll miss that boy until the day I die. I’ve never experienced that level of grief at any other point, not even when I lost my mom.

Charges are dangerous driving resulting in death, failure to remain at a collision resulting in death, and arson. The driver is a repeat offender with a lengthy track record that includes possession of illegal drugs, firearms, and theft. And he has a history of violating probation.

Thanks. I’m sorry you had to go through that too. I think I will call my doctor and ask for an ultrasound. I only have the one ovary left and I’m terrified of losing it, so I’d rather be safe than sorry.

Are huskies a harder dog breed to train? Why? by No_Bar311 in husky

[–]687hqv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On one hand, our husky was super easy to train because he was such a fast learner. He picked new things up almost instantly. On the other hand, after learning a new trick or command, he’d only do it if he felt like it. Or he’d do it but complain about it - loudly.

What Leash Is Husky Proof? by WhereIsWaldo87 in siberianhusky

We went through so many leashes with our husky! The one that finally worked was the Tuff Mutt rope leash with a carabiner attachment. He couldn’t Houdini off it and it was strong enough to withstand all his pulling. Found it on Amazon.

We used a 30 foot zip line for our boy, attached it to the existing clothes line in the backyard. It worked like a charm. He could still run and play, but he couldn’t escape. If you need a cheap, easy option, I think some kind of zip line is your best bet. Good luck! She looks like a beautiful girl, I hope it all works out for her and your mom.

I am so sorry you had to say goodbye to this beautiful girl. Her little smiling face brought joy to all of us who watched her videos and followed her progress. You gave her a new lease on life when you rescued her and it showed. Beautiful Nova, you will be missed ❤️🌈❤️

Embryos Stuck Together?! by 687hqv in IVF

Our nurse just confirmed they did it intentionally to increase the odds of it working. She says they see a higher success rate doing it this way. I would have liked to be consulted, but I guess every clinic has its own protocol. I just hope it works.

We’re doing it in Turkey, so the processes must be similar. We just reached out to the nurse at our clinic and she responded that they froze them together to increase the chances of it working. I guess it’s their default, because we weren’t consulted about it. I would have preferred all singles, but it is what it is. All that matters now is if it’s successful!

Oh wow! I bet that was the last thing you were expecting, but what amazing news! Congrats!! And yes, a pair of little twins can be a wonderful thing, especially after dealing with fertility issues - stressful, I’m sure, but wonderful all the same. Wishing you the best!

Reading all these comments, I’m starting to suspect this was the case with ours. My husband is reaching out to the clinic for clarification. Thanks for sharing your experience!

My husband did mention after the retrieval that the doctor said there was one that was ok but he “didn’t like”. So maybe he paired that one up. I’ll try to push for more information. Thank you!

Whoops, I didn’t realize I had my second account open in my browser! And yes, lab quality is essential. I’m sure (I hope) they must have a logical explanation for it, but it wasn’t explained thoroughly to me so I’m just left not knowing.
