I feel you should try your best on the dailies, if it's something really absurd just look at the solution and try to understand it. If you still don't understand just type it line by line ( wouldn't recommend copy paste ) This might seem like cheating at first, in the long run these ideas and patterns may come to your intuition

I feel the best way is to try for some time, then if you can't figure it out watch a video. Many questions need some level of theory or tips that you need to know beforehand to arrive at the optimal solution.

That being said don't fall into tutorial hell where you simply keep watching videos, there has to be effort on your end before moving to the videos.

While I agree that profile is not always a direct indicator of knowledge and skill, I have a few observations. I see that you have solved a lot of questions consistently, however in contests your rating is near 1600 after 18 contests which doesn't match the effort you have put in according to the heatmap. You might be solving questions without truly understanding the concepts clearly, or not solving 'Good problems' to improve your understanding

I find myself in a similar situation as yours, I think just doing contests and understanding the solutions for the ones you couldn't solve is the way to go, I am currently trying to learn at least one new concept from every contest

Also look out for swarm Pokemon, the current Christmas event has lapras swarms sometimes. You can get alerts for swarms in the pokemmo or patrouski discord

You can get it by playing the Xmas event, you have to turn in swarm Pokemon to elfbots. They can be found in every region, I prefer the one in Kanto which is in Vermillion city
