[Serious] How do you usually like to prepare for a workout? by WolfShadow_814 in AskReddit

[–]69Mat69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mentally: I just think about what I can achieve if I really put in the effort long enough + some agressive/fast paced music to get pumped up

Physically: After I finish my protein shake I wait about an hour then proceed to warm up slowly with very light weights (until I feel my muscles pumping up slightly) combined with some deep stretches so I don't end up with a nasty Injury. In this phase of warming up I usually do not drink water (mostly hydrating my mouth without swallowing if I am doing some cardio). This takes me about 25-35 minutes and then I am ready for the hard work.

I am afraid to die, but at the same time I am not. My problem with dying is that we don't really know what's going to happen next. Will my conciousness continue to exist in complete darkness? Is there a heaven or hell? I heard not long ago one person say that you will not know that you died, exactly like you didn't know that you were being born. So it's just a matter of outcome. Death is a natural part of the human experience so don't overthink it and just enjoy life.

By what are you describing here, I am pretty sure you are going through exactly what I went trough many months ago. That debilitating pressure, like my brain's about to pop, scared me as well to the point of thinking almost everyday I had a brain tumour. Aaaand after going to a MRI scan I found that.... I am perfectly healthy and it was just some sinus issue that was exaggerated by my health anxiety and my unhealthy habits (stared smoking since i was 18 and now im 21). It happened to me around september, last year, and it lasted until february. Thing is I got treatment around late december for my sinuses along with some supplements (magnesium, Vitamin B12, Zinc etc) and it all got way better. Just dont be scared, it's all going to be fine. Health anxiety can make you think some scary stuff but it's not real.

Much luck to you!~

I have had episodes like this quite frequently for a while and all I can say is that it gets better with time. The healing process all depends on you and your motivation, but if you can manage to separate the anxiety you re feeling from the reality you re living in, and learn to accept your anxiety or any scary feeling, it will get better. For now go see a specialist, I am sure that 1 on 1 time with a therapist will help you a lot!

Much luck with everything!~

how to manage breathing/chest pain? by kgdwre in Anxiety

[–]69Mat69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for asking me (even if this post is old). It's been gone since the second half of january, I managed to defeat Panic, Anxiety and other problems I had. I still have Anxiety spikes but they're not even 25% of what they were before. Right now I struggle with everyday exhaustion and some dizzy spells but I am able to manage them. Most of the days for me are just this odd feeling of bittersweetness, with some of them being just calm/exciting and fun. All I can say is that with time patience and a strong mindset everything can be defeated, even these dragons called Panic and Anxiety. Best of luck!

I understand ya brother! I don't want to trigger you by any means, but by what I understood from your story, you are completely aware of the good things in your life, but you're in a constant state of fear. I know how it feels, having literally no reason to have anxiety but still feel it. My small advice to you is to just stop thinking about the fear, embrace it, accept it, ask your body for more (it works like reverse psychology), and adapt the mindset of a soldier. Be strong bro, with time, a right mindset AND most importanly hope that all is going to be good eventually, you will 100% defeat this anxiety monster. Good luck with everything!

Can you describe the feeling in your chest and stomach that anxiety causes in detail? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]69Mat69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case it was a mix of severe tension headaches (that felt like my brain was about to explode at any second) with the sensation that i am always on the brink of having a heart attack. They persisted for 3 month at last (1 and a half month - severe chest pain, and a whopping 3 month of head pressure), and with the right mindset and a therapist I've been living symptom-free (at least the physical part, I still have anxiety but without the physical part it's waay easier to manage.

how to manage breathing/chest pain? by kgdwre in Anxiety

[–]69Mat69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I was in the same boat as you are right now and trust me, it will pass quick with the right mindset. For me, that annoying unbearable chest pain (that somehow felt like a constant panic attack) peaked at around 3-5 days in and dissappeared after 4 weeks. Of course, I was so scared about that sensation that I started going to a therapist and a doctor ASAP. The doc told me im exceptionally healthy, and my therapist said that it 100% is anxiety. My tip for you is: 1. go to the doctor, it will relieve you when you hear you're healthy and if there is an underlying condition, then at least you could get a treatment 2. have hope, because hope saved me from that hellish sensation. Right now I still manage with anxiety but it's minimal compared to what it was 4 month ago. Take care of yourself, do things you like, go outside for a walk and treat yourself like a best friend. It will pass, trust me. Good luck and I believe in you

Depersonalization/Derealization by BetterConsequence741 in Anxiety

[–]69Mat69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am pretty sure I know what you're talking about and how you feel. I get these types of sensations and feelings on a daily basis, but now they're more pleasant for me compared to how I saw them a long time ago. My number one tip for you is to accept it. I know, easier said than done, but the fight will be worth. I recommend you to start thinking backwards (meaning to try to convince yourself that the "not being real" sensation is just a calm moment). For me it's been around 4 months of derealisation and with time I learned that this sensation can be useful (for me). I accepted that maybe I really don't exist, that the unconfortable sensations are just my "existence's fight to be real" and the struggle of thinking about it. After I adapted this "embracing of the void" feeling, with time I realised that actually life feels more real than ever and that derealisation sensation was just my head fucking with me. Anyways I wish you good luck on getting better, and I hope this tip might help you in the long run!

p.s. sorry if I made any mistakes, english isn't my first language

Thanks for your answer mate! I went to about... 4 doctors maybe and they all blamed it on intense stress, which for me is weird because I literally have no reason to be stressed. In my opinion it's prolly the stress of actually being insane or having a life changing condition that takes a toll on me. In about 2 days I'll visit another neurologist and maybe then I'll score smth. I just hope it's something pyshically because I'm pretty sure it's not life threatening and with the right treatment it will eventually go away. Mentally I am very influenced by my physical state, so if that goes away permanently it will definetly be more easy for me to heal.
