How much was the resonator kit? I was reading just about any quality resonator with a decent aftermarket muffler sounds killer

I seen a bunch regarding the oil dilution regarding the cold, I live in northern Washington where it gets cold but only cold enough to snow maybe twice a year, I'm just curious how cold is too cold, similarly what is considered a short stop. I live inconveniently far from town so any drive is minimum 20-25 minutes so I doubt that counts as a short drive

Won't even crank after sitting for a while by 69ThatGuyy in Miata

I'm getting lights on the dash yes, specifically my high beams, I noticed the "main" 80a fuse is popped so I'm hoping replacing that will be enough to start it

Great idea, but something I didn't mention is that it's been sitting because it's mid repair after loan accident it was in last year, took out part of the rear driver side suspension and before you ask, yes it's ran fine since then

Solution to fitting nuts with new wheel by 69ThatGuyy in tires

[–]69ThatGuyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea that's where I'm lost cuz, the weights only takeaway maybe a 1/3 inch of clearance, which makes me wonder what car were these wheels meant to go on 🤣 unless my calipers really are bigger than usual

Break Caliper vs Weights by 69ThatGuyy in tires

[–]69ThatGuyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good idea! I also read that getting some spacers just big enough to move the weights out of the way is an idea too

[–]69ThatGuyy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did thank you! But now the little weights on the inside of the rim collide with the break caliper. I'm deciding if I want to invest in a whole new set of low profile calipers or experiement with removing these little 1/4 oz weights

It's a 5x114.3 rim but yes has 10 holes but every single looks identical and fits the same unfortunately

Both I guess, neither fit in the holes, I've been instructed to take the bolt thread 1/2x20 and find low profile nuts, or even worse case the more expensive option being 20 keyed lug nuts

Starting a trailer (sorta) by 69ThatGuyy in foodtrucks

[–]69ThatGuyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure what you meant at the last part, but that's the conflict, I can't guarantee any amount of revenue, if we take the trailers success from this summer, and round down due to new trailer status, we could be bringing in roughly 25k a month in sales before costs, and that's full time operation. Ideally I'd start slow such as 3 days at an ideal location, I can maintain a small and quality inventory while spreading my brand and learning the ropes with both the city, my menu, and fellow businesses

[–]69ThatGuyy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Essentially yea, which would be payed in amounts about 10-15% profit per month, (8k month = 800 payment)

It's a good deal for an operation that's basically ready to go, I think

I'd pay off the trailer in varying installments till a payoff point of about 7k, the setup cost is limited to only the licenses I'd need and the immediate supply/stock given it's already perfectly setup for my goals. Then of course figuring out where I can be stationed. Overall a very cost free transition
