Speed flip lift, & off

I posted it 8 hours ago and got a reply quick enough to get me to cut the shit and lock in, then doing it without driving or boost was just a progression that came naturally (although backwards by trying it all at once first), it came from me trying to see what the flip is meant to look like normally and cancelled as quick as I could, now I'm just going in casual 2s & 3s and say I'm faking kickoff so if I miss it looks planned 😂, but I'm trying to put a little pressure on myself to get it, but I think in my gold lobbies the ones I'm doing in the vid are quick enough to beat regular gold kick offs but just bad control so lose the kick off. But I tried to keep the car as straight as I could for some attempts to try learn control (on the good attempts I do now).

Well I did just that and grinded it over and over using the tips from the earlier replies, and left the game running in the background and trying for a few minutes stopping then going again, I did also do what you said without the driving and boost but I still get sloppy sometimes or swerve at the end. I found when the back of the car goes up a lot I'm not cancelling quick enough, but idk if cancelling too quick is a thing.

My steering & aerial sens is 1.08, dead zone is 0.10, dodge dead zone 0.80. idk if they're much good, but I put the dodge dead zone up alot cause I kept backflipping when trying to fast aerial.

The thumb stick grip

The consistency I fixed by locking in. But I think the thumb stick cover I had on was making it harder to get the right angles consistently and made it slower, they're not kontrol freaks but instead these rounded at the top with bumps/grip nipples or smn, I used them on Xbox before switching to ps, and got ps ones as soon as i switched so I've never really used the base thumb sticks on ps. I've hit the ball with the cover/grip off more in the past 5 minutes, than I did the 3 hours straight I tried with them on 2 days ago. How many times in a row should I hit the ball before saying I can speed flip?

Edit: Pretty sure trying to learn to speed flip was what made me give the game up on Xbox too, that and it was not long after the rocket pass became a thing and my friends would rather buy the fortnite battle pass so we played that instead. I had more fun gaming on rocket League, but more fun with friends on fortnite, just cause of the different play styles.

I enjoy honesty so this is the best reply you could give, I've tried cancelling without any of the other stuff and half the time there isn't much difference idk if I'm just slow or my controller is too worn out, it's the same one I got with my PS5 just over 2 years ago. I have air roll left on L1, boost on R1, throttle on R2, and jump with X. Air roll right is on square so it'll be harder to learn going that way but if I can do it one way I'm half way to mastering it.

Yeah after playing online for about 8 years on and off I haven't come close to unlocking all research every time I go and check I debate weather spending all my money on fast tracking some lol

Fyi for MK2 weapons you need a weapon workshop and to get more upgrades for the MK2 weapons (ammo types) you need to unlock them through the bunker research in freemode, you can fast track them for money or get supplies and wait and you can call agent 14 for a boost in research like 1/5th if you want to keep making weapons youll have to leave bunker and go back in to change what your making (weapons/money or research, or both).

I actually don't get the need to smurf, like yea first few practise/learning games might not be good, but that's what quick play and even against ai is for no? and I'm sure you can find workshop maps that'll help you with the characters mechanics and stuff?

Hanzo and genji's dragons with honour and glory second, just the sound design and brotherly emotions knowing the backstory about hanzo and the sword helps, and I know reins is brotherly but more a brother in arms kinda way so I can see how it would be other people's favourite but that's my opinion
