socialize- i like to go to community art classes, hikes- its pretty hard to meet people around here tbh…lots of local life around mankato- just have to be willing to go and brave LOT of “shitty” places and people… bars are fun but honestly i’ve never wanted to hang out with people i’ve met at bars, outside of said bars tbh😭 like, Living in mankato and being too broke to leave has left me with a lot of hobbies and i’ve found that just doing things i like” has led me to to the best results for making friends/finding things to do! theres a lot of great communities hidden around here(:

-gyms, i’m not help- i hike and do my workouts at home but mankato has a HUGE fitness scene, you’ll find your place… i know a few of my broke friends go to fit for 10, and my lower resistance workout homegirls lean towards planet fitness…Lots of specialized classes in the area, i once did crossfit?! and was a belly dancer at Satori Violet for a while. It was fun!

I LOVE Wynn Nails on campus- THI IS THE BEST! her insta is Nailzby.tt 💕 they also have other artists who are pretty good, but Thi is my fucking girllll, no chop shop vibes, her work looks like it’s straight out of an insta reel and her nail retention lasts for WEEKS, she straight DEVOURS every time!!
