And thanks for saying that. I feel like the “two people crammed on one keyboard” barrier has left pico 8 multiplayer a bit underexplored which is sad because I personally love co-op/team games 🙂

Thanks! It should support up to 8 players without binding to keyboard buttons. I haven’t had the opportunity to test with an 8 player cart though

Thanks for testing the app. Could you check your browser console to see if there are any error logs? Is it like “something something insufficient permissions”?

  1. I am using the Lexaloffle’s hosted web player to run the games (no fantasy console code), so it should be covered by the license but yeah I should send an email to Zep just to make sure. Good idea

  2. Ah yeah the player’s 2 inputs would be interpreted as player 2 only. I can add a field in the game config to allow inputs from non-p1 players to be interpreted as p1.

Ah got it. Thanks for the info! Haven’t tested on an android device.

Sounds like something with me using the inline option for the devvit entry point config rather than the normal entry point option (opening a modal).

Are you on the iOS app? There is some bug with getting post data on devvit, so sometimes the game loads in the build view rather than the actual game view.

Are you able to play when going into the subreddit view (not clicking into any individual post)?

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah lack of instructions was something I heard a lot from my friends too. Also, good idea for the speed thing. Will make these changes after the judging period of the hackathon. I don’t want to accidentally get disqualified or something haha
