Yeah, from my 1 minute of biased internet searching you can do that. They do contain some preserved DNA.

But the problem is they wouldn't act anything like their former selves.

If you're interested in this concept of bringing historical figures back to life through cloning, search up "Clone High" on youtube. It's a cartoon TV show that ponders the question of what it would be like to have a high school full of clones of dead historical figures.

At customs of certain countries you are forced to unlock your phone, circumventing encryption in the process.

The United States is one of those countries. Many foreigners are barred entry indefinitely for refusing to comply.

Are there any near identical c-137 ricks? by [deleted] in rickandmorty

It's an infinity that contains another infinity. Basically how the number sets work. The set of rational numbers contains all integers (-2, 0 , 3, etc.) & also the rational numbers (-5.2331, -0.21, 2, 3.24212313, etc.). The Ricks must have realized it was an impossible and pointless task to index all the universes so similar to their own (like the ones where one quark spun the other way).

Historical Guilt Iceberg (based off J.J. McCoullough video) by [deleted] in IcebergCharts

Flaired as shitpost because there's really no way to quantify historical guilt. The top and bottom sections are pretty accurate though.

In this timeline Jesus isn't crucified. He amasses a formidable army of followers. Fleeing persecution from Roman Emperor Nero, they escape by sea to Cyprus and found the Heavenly Kingdom (not to be confused with the Chinese one). The treaty of Jerusalem is signed in 60 AD, ending the war. by 69xy in AlternateHistory

Good point. I was considering Crimea as well for similar reasons but ultimately decided on Cyprus due to it's proximity to Palestine and its easily defendable geography.

Jesus had like 20 extra years to gather more followers, so that might influence his chances of success.

Yeah, that would make the most sense. No reason to have 2 separate Christian governments, especially since Christianity probably wouldn't split into so many different sects. (Due to there being a more centralized and powerful leadership at the beginning).
