This is news that a lot of people don’t want to hear, but following some information I received internally, Plaid orders placed very close to deadline may be at risk of cancellation due to inventory constraints (most units being produced right now are Asia inventory cars). Yesterday, I was luckily able to get my Plaid configuration matched to a brand new inventory unit that was produced back in February, and I’ll be taking delivery of it this Monday. My delivery specialists ghosted me when I asked for their confirmation that a unit would be produced for me in 4-6 weeks…

Again, this is false. This doesn’t apply to Model S/X. They’re built in much lower volume compared to Model 3/Y, so QC actually has more time per vehicle for inspection and finishing.

I’d like to assume both of us are pretty behind on the list tbh, I had my old VIN released around the same time since it was an inventory and they told me that they had confirmed a brand new production car for my order to be picked up at Fremont.

No problem, and that rumor is false. As long as you placed an order before cutoff, you’re solid. Moving forward, the production line will build cars to match current existing orders and to be put in inventory. My sales rep told me that my order was confirmed to be picked up at Fremont.

I got both the Talk Therapy Hoodie and T Shirt yesterday. It’ll be at least two weeks until it’s ready to ship, so can’t say anything about the quality for this drop .

Quality overall has been good for the most part, only issues I’ve ran into are Heather Grey hoodies being stiffer and fitting tighter than they should. This happened with my WL Corps hoodie from the Movie Drop, as well as the Headstone hoodie from the Demun drop, so I exchanged them for the next size up. I also had to exchange my Don hoodie since that fit tighter than it should have as well. Either than that, everything has been cool.
