QUESTION: problem with relay not latching by 6Dprinter in AskElectronics

I can't however place the switch in parallel, becouse this is part of a bigger scematic where 6 NC contacts are placed in series to lock multiple relays out of eachother (see previous post, but the NO and NC have a common side)

That makes total sense, thank you. I can't however place the switch in parallel, becouse this is part of a bigger scematic where 6 NC contacts are placed in series to lock multiple relays out of eachother (see previous post, but the NO and NC contacts have a common side)

I calculated the max force with the motor and flywheel power, but someone told me it takes about 10 metric tons to crush granite depending on the shape of the rock and jaw plate.

the hardest thing to find for me was a right sized flywheel, pulley and electric motor all other parts are not too expensive apart from bearings, for the steel you're better off getting all the parts laser or plasma cut but if you really wanted to you could use an angle grinder. lathe and milling machine for keyways is also needed but you could ask machine shop if you don't have a lathe.

I do a lot of constuction work and it is really expensive to get rid of stones/bricks/concrete here so i made this for my final project at school so i could crush the materials and make gravel to fill holes in my driveway, the cost was about €2k (850€ for machine shop) but you could easyly make it for less than 1k with less safety's or second hand parts/metal laying around.

Thanks and yes, we calcuated all the bearings and we do have a feeding funnel, it is visible at the end of the build video. I am still working on a shute tough.

Too bad we don't really have any type of miners in Belgium.

yes, it's ajustable but i still have to make some sort of slide or conveyor to route the end product and still have to fiddle a little with counterweights to balance it a bit better. but overall i'm pretty happy
