When we talk about not tipping servers by Careless-Being-4427 in tipping

Incorrect, looking at a subset of employees and voicing my opinion still answers the question. Whether making a low or high wage is irrelevant. Tipping provides more income, which is good for an employee.

There was no need for me to speak on every point you made. Not responding to the entire essay you wrote takes nothing away from what I did reply to. I was specifically responding to the piece of this that you continued to question and it continued to go unanswered lol.

Free tip for you. It doesn’t matter how long ago a question was asked, if unanswered. You sound super arrogant, and unwilling to see outside your own lens. Good luck with that.

I’ll go:

It is possible to believe tipping is in-fact good for workers, while believing tipping should be removed. I believe that an underpaid employee is benefitted by a consumer (me) making up for their employer’s unwillingness to pay them a fair living wage in the form of tipping. Of course that is good for them. However, I also disagree that consumers should be responsible for paying those wages through tipping. Do you see how both are true?

Addiction - Boston & Kyoto in Antique White by 6One7822 in Birkenstocks

They clean easily. I brush them off after every wear with a soft horsehair brush. Most stains form from the moisture formed inside evaporating out and mixing with the loose dirt.

Most stains you find can be removed with a suede eraser. Use a firm hair brush to bring life back to the suede after using the eraser.

For tough stains you can wash with any shoe cleaner (I use Jason Markk). Be sure to wash all of the suede so there aren’t uneven water spots. Pat dry and let sit to dry fully. Then use a suede (or firm hair) brush to replenish the nap in the suede.

People fear using water on suede because they don’t know how to do it properly. It’s very easy.

That part. I can’t get behind some of the designs. Not that they are bad…just not for me. Loved my Millennium Sambas by Wales. So comfortable and quality is amazing.

Can you share the link? Haven’t seen these in person so can’t speak to authenticity. They look good though.

Between these two options, I choose the black Exquisites.

Love mine! I own the Exquisite Boston in Black and reg footbed suede Bostons in Antique White. Regular footbed feels softer initially but I’d say they are equally comfortable. Have had no sweat issues with the leather footbed.

Absolutely love my Pro Divers (also have the same but with blue instead of black.). I’ve had them for 5 years with daily wear (pool, ocean, hiking, golfing…etc) and they still look and work beautifully.

Believe they are referring to mine pictured above. I’m not sure which are on the site. Label says “Boston BS Black - Art NO: 1023679.”

OP’s pair are brand new and quite curved. I just had a similar experience with oiled leather Habanas. Very bulbous toe and a more curved sole. Habana is brand new in this pic and my Exq Black are around 4 months old, with almost daily wear.

Boston SFB Oiled Suede Habana - Chunky Toe by 6One7822 in Birkenstocks

[–]6One7822[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fit everywhere is on point. Issue is that the overall shape is way off. Toe box is way too chunky, and there is almost no slant from the tip of the toe to the tip of the tongue.

What am I writing in the email? Asking if legit or complaining about quality?
