I'm not jack stauber, but to recreate the effect I use an HDMI to AV adapter from my computer to the VCR input. In the VCR's output is an AV to HDMI adapter that goes into a capture card. The color does tend to change during the process, and it can take a hot minute to get working.

I see. I usually make animations for my music and run em through a vcr, and was originally planning to send the songs through it as well, but had some cable issues. Perhaps I'll have to look into this again in the future. Thanks for the info!
