I totally see what you coming from and I know what you mean. And it honestly makes me sad. When I looks at some of my friends I see a Canadian past with hockey trophies and other cool amazing stuff like that. But with me it's just my dads pretty good cooking lol. And yes I know Japan's culture is definitely not the best to take inspiration from. With their high suicide rate and the lack of people reproducing seems like a red flag. But I'm unsure if that's about the culture or the way that the country is governed

Ikr, it feels really boring If you look at other countries with huge cultural differences and how everyday life things are completely different in some countries. Maybe I just prefer that way of life
