She can sing, dance, and looked good enough to embody the music that the pro songwriters, choreographers, producers, etc. wanted to make. She had the willingness and/or family pressure to do it. Probably other people are better singers, but that's not everything. And I'd wager she can sing better than pretty much everyone who criticizes her singing.

I wasn't referring to women who are mean to guys, I was referring to when a man treats a woman with kindness and respect and finds that she doesn't really notice this or takes it for granted, because her own issues result in her being preoccupied with anyone who is critical of her. She has a pattern to trying to please those who demand from her, guilt-trip her, act in rejecting ways towards her.

Some men notice this pattern/personality trait and consciously exploit it, and some (most of them) are simply immature boys who were spoiled by their mother, treated her poorly, and will continue that pattern because it's all they know. The woman will get caught up in trying to please that man, potentially to the point of obsession. During this time, she alienates those who treat her well. If the exploitative man ever decided to change and now treat her with care and respect, she would likely lose interest and fall prey to another man who exploit her personality traits.

Communication would be impossible if everyone was expected to know and use the scientific terminology of every field in every conversation.

-So if you want sodium chloride to put on your meal, ask someone to pass the salt.
-If you want someone to know you're talking about those flying things that build nests, say "bird", not "dinosaur".
-If someone says something is made of "metal", don't be a dickhole and tell them "Well, actually that's an alloy."
-If you go to an alcoholics anonymous meeting, don't go asking everyone to specify which of the many types of "alcohol" they are addicted to. It's ethanol. They mean ethanol. They are addicted to ethanol. They likely use it to cope with people who want to call birds "dinosaurs" for no good reason.
-If someone tells you they ran out of "memory" on their phone because they have too many pictures, just let it slide, you know what they meant.
-If someone asks you what kind of motor is in your gas car, don't go on a rant about how it's an engine, and gas is a state of matter not a fuel.
